Today’s cards combine new products from Stampin’ Up!’s January-June 2021 Mini Catalog with “seasoned” products from our Annual Catalog. I sometimes get caught up purchasing and playing with all of the brand-new goodies, And I forget about the stamps, papers, and tools available all the time.
Be sure to watch the video at the end of the post. A Facebook Live replay, it demonstrates the products and how I created today’s cards. I’d love you to subscribe to my YouTube channel. I add a video each week that demonstrates a different stamping technique or product.
Stitched with Whimsy Meets Daisy Lane
I created a set of cards in Balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight using:
Stitched with Whimsy Dies (JJ Mini) — I love the whimsical stitching;
Happy Thoughts stamp set (JJ Mini) — I love the variety of sentiments — perfect for creating a gift set;
Blending Brushes (JJ Mini) — these help create fun backgrounds;
Daisy Lane stamp set (Annual Catalog) — says “spring” and we’re all ready for that;
Daisy Punch (Annual Catalog) — a fun and easy coordinating product; and
the Stamparatus (Annual Catalog) — a stamp positioning tool helping you create quick and cute projects.
This post features four variations of one design. Do you like the Balmy Blue card base, the Daffodil Delight card base, or the white card base? I’d love to hear from you!

Playing with Stampin’ Up!’s Daisy Lane stamp set, the Mini Paper Pumpkin Box, and Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper.
In the last week, I’ve been on a binge creating fun projects with Stampin’ Up!’s Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes. I love the versatility and the ability to decorate in a number of ways. A package of 10 sells for $7.50. And, they hold a variety of different items.
See this previous post about sponging the boxes: Sending Sunshine
Did you know the Mini Paper Pumpkin Box are a perfect fit for Stampin’ Up!’s note cards and envelopes? These pre-cut and scored card bases (20 for $7) offer a way to create quick and easy cards. Look for them in Whisper White and Very Vanilla. Wouldn’t these make a great hostess gift? Or a fun set to send in the mail?
I decorated the box with the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper and created coordinating cards to go inside. The Daisy Lane stamp set and coordinating Daisy Punch made this project quick and easy.
August Paper Pumpkin
The Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes are inspired by Stampin’ Up!’s full-size version of its monthly crafting kit, Paper Pumpkin. Each month, subscribers receive a one-of-a-kind crafting experience all tucked into a box delivered to your mailbox. The kits contain and exclusive stamp set, a mini ink pad, and the ingredients to create that month’s project. In a month’s time, you’ll have collected twelve different stamp sets and twelve different mini ink pads you can use to create your own handmade greeting cards.
Subscribe by August 10 to receive August’s kit: Celebrate the World’s Greatest. This kit focuses on the everyday heroese—they’ve always surrounded us! Teachers, doctors, hairdressers, nurses, delivery workers, cashiers, and even our friends, kids, and family members go above and beyond to enrich our lives. These people are truly the world’s greatest at what they do!
This kit allows you to create nine handmade greeting cards with coordinating envelopes for just $22 + tax (shipping is included).
Stampin’ Up! Daisy Punch, Medium Daisy Punch, and Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper
Hello Stampers!
I couldn’t wait to order and receive the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets. They are just so beautiful! I have a tendency to hoard papers like this, so I was brave: I cut into it! (You receive four sheets each of three different single-sided designs in Blueberry Bushel, Old Olive, and Pretty Peacock for $14.50.)
Inspired by Selene Kempton, this card features the Blueberry Bushel design. The paper does all of the work. I added the daisy — created by combining two punches from the large Daisy Punch and two punches from the Medium Daisy Punch. I put them together using glue dots and added a Pineapple Punch center using the 1/2-inch circle punch. The sentiment comes from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set and is stamped on Blueberry Bushel ink on a scrap of Whisper White card stock. It worked perfectly for my Sip and Stamp event held earlier this week at a local coffee/wine shop.
Thanks for stopping by today! If you want some of this beautiful paper for your stash, you can order directly from my online store. Click on any of the photos below to browse.
If i was forced to choose a favorite product from Stampin’ Up!’s Occasions Catalog, I think I would choose the 6 x 6 Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper. This paper pack — featuring Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, Lemon Lime Twist, Grapefruit Grove, and Balmy Blue — is just perfect for a variety of cards and projects. Here, I used the Daisy Punch to create the daisies from the Gingham Gala paper.
It’s important to note that this great paper won’t be available after June 3 (or while supplies last). It’s only $11 for 40 sheets of paper.
Other fun elements included on this card include the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies, the greeting from Itty Bitty Birthdays, and the Subtles Embossing Folder.
Thanks for stopping by today. Please let me know if you have questions about this card or other projects. Click on the graphics below to be taken directly to my online store where you can purchase the ingredients used to make this birthday card.
