I attended my first Stampin’ Up! party when I lived in Northern Minnesota more than 23 years ago. (That was when demonstrators just “showed” you the product. You didn’t get to touch anything! I love it that now we get to “play” with everything.)
At that first party, the stamping looked fun, but I felt I lacked the talent to create anything handmade. (After all, when I was growing up, my mom hid the glue bottle from me!). But the demonstrator was so kind. She said, “It’s homemade; it doesn’t have to be perfect.” That was when I took the leap, ordered supplies and began my stamping journey.
After being a dedicated Stampin’ Up! customer for more than 18 years, I decided to invest the time and energy to become a demonstrator in November of 2010. I embraced the way Stampin’ Up!’s products all color-coordinate with each other. The ink matches the paper that matches the ribbon that matches the embellishments. You get the idea! For me, it’s easy-peasy. I know everything is going to go together.
I truly enjoy getting together with friends and family to create cards and projects. I love sending everyone a homemade birthday card and creating a unique card for each holiday.
I love sharing the art of rubber stamping and invite you to attend one of my many monthly stamping classes held at my home in Mesa, Arizona. When I’m not stamping or scrapping, I work as a freelance writer and enjoy reading, walking and traveling. My husband works for an insurance company, and our son lives in Minnesota.
I look forward to creating with you!
