Welcome to the February 2021 Maui Achievers Blog Hop!
We’re a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who have achieved the Stampin’ Up! bonus of the Maui incentive trip. We celebrate this achievement by organizing a monthly hop which helps us continue to inspire you creatively.
You may be starting here or have come from someone else’s blog – either way there’s a list at the end of this post to help you move around to all the different blogs and gather many amazing ideas. We have all listed our country – so if you’re looking for a demonstrator, these are top demonstrators in their country and would love to help you with your Stampin’ Up! shopping or if you’d like to join our Stampin’ Up! teams. Visit all of the blogs and leave a comment. We love to hear from you.
Get Inspired
As crafters and creators, we all experience those days when we need a little inspiration. Maybe you’ve lost your mojo. Perhaps you’re just feeling blah. How do you get inspired to dust off the ink and make a card?
I often reach for Stampin’ Up!’s catalogs, browsing the many pages of samples created by the company’s talented design artists. The inspiration for this card popped out at me from page 32 of the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. The sample of the 3 x 3 card on the top right-hand corner caught my eye. But I really wanted to create a full-size version. I made a few adjustments, substituted like products for some I don’t have, and there it was.
I’m so excited about how this turned out! Inspired, I’m thinking of ways I can mix these products up with different color combinations and shapes.
Thanks for stopping by today. Please contact me if you have questions about this card or other paper crafting questions. Be sure to visit all of the blogs listed below for more inspiration.

Since moving to Arizona more than a year and a half ago, I’ve become fascinated with the cactus here in the desert. The varieties amaze me as well as the different blooms each exhibits.
Imagine my excitement when I saw the Flowering Cactus Product Medley in Stampin’ Up!’s January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. The stamp set, coordinating dies, and designer series paper make it easy to send tailored greetings from this part of the world. It sells for $70. A refill is also available.
So I just had to make a Valentine card using this fun medley.
Flowering Cactus Valentine Card
Old Olive base
Real Red layer cut at 4 1/2 x 3 1/4
Designer Series Paper cut at 3 x 3
Crumb Cake cut at 3 x 1 3/4
Old Olive strip measuring 3 3/4 inches x 3/4 inches and embossed with piece from die cuts
Heart stamped in Real Red and punched with Kiss Punch
Cactus stamped in Old Olive and die cut with coordinating die
Sentiment from Meant to Be stamp set (Annual Catalog) in Real Red ink
Here’s a cute little mini card love note created with the stamp set and dies. It fits perfectly in one of Stampin’ Up!’s 3 x 3 envelopes. Tuck it under someone’s pillow or in a lunch box.

When we moved to Arizona from Nebraska more than fifteen months ago, we wanted to include cactus in our backyard. The landscaper refused. He said it was cliche, and he encouraged us to plant lantanas instead. (I really think he didn’t want to deal with the prickles!)
A month or so later, my husband discovers a teeny, tiny cactus growing in the front yard. After nearly being destroyed by the same landscapers, my hubby dug it up and planted it in this pot. He’s dutifully watered and tended it. Not that a cactus needs much water. But what do we know?
We have no idea what kind of cactus this may be. We can’t wait until it grows a little bigger.
In the meantime, I’m excited Stampin’ Up! is offering the Flowering Cactus Product Medley ($70) in its upcoming January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. This catalog goes live at 3 a.m. Mountain Time January 5. (I’m working to get catalogs in the mail and/or delivered. Happy New Year 2021
I know I’m looking forward to putting 2020 behind me and moving onto the new year. And, I wanted my new year’s card to reflect the joy and anticipation of a fresh start! In the past, I’ve gravitated toward the black and silver combinations and black and gold combinations.
Today’s card features one of the many designs from the Playing with Patterns 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. Find it in Stampin’ Up!’s 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. The sheet I chose speaks “confetti” and celebration.
I also used an assortment of other Stampin’ Up! products:
“This Calls For” sentiment from So Sentimental stamp set. (Just a hint: I used the Night of Navy Stampin’ Writer marker from the Neutrals Stampin’ Writer Markers collection to color just the words I wanted to use.)
Nature’s Thoughts Dies
Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels
I hope you’ve enjoyed my new year’s card! Please leave me a comment with the hashtag #stampitcontest. Visit all of the blogs on the hop to gain inspiration for your own paper crafting projects.
Congratulations to last month’s winner: Michael Haugland.
The holiday countdown begins! Just 10 days until Christmas Day of 2020. You may still be purchasing and wrapping gifts. Or, maybe you’re finished. You might be baking, and you might be creating and sending holiday cards.
And, you might receive a last-minute invitation. Or need a last-minute quick gift. Wine, liqueurs, and sparkling water make great host or spur-of-the-moment gifts. A quick and easy wine bottle tag spruces up the gift. Stampin’ Up!’s coordinating products make this quick, fun, and festive.
Basic card stock color of your choosing: 8 inches x 3 1/4 inches, scored at 2 1/4 inches on the horizontal side.
A piece of coordinating Designer Series paper cut at 5 x 3 inches. I used Heartwarming Hugs for the tag on the left and Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper for the tag on the right.
1 /2 inch circle punch to create the hole for hanging.
Detailed Trio punch for rounding the edges.
Perfectly Plaid stamp set and coordinating Pine Tree Punch (left) and Christmas Gleaming and Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack (right).
Please note: Many of the products in the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog retire. Stampin’ Up! announced a Year-End Closeout Sale last week. Check the list which includes some products up to 50 percent off. But supplies are limited, so some availability may be limited.
Check out the video for visual instructions.
Thanks for stopping by today! I appreciate you!
