Christmas in July: Winter Woods

It’s the second week of Christmas in July with Winter Woods on my blog today! Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas in July: Winter Woods

Each Thursday in July, I committed to creating a holiday, winter-, or Christmas-themed card with the products in Stampin’ Up!’s 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. This week, I feature Stampin’ Up!’s Winter Woods stamp set, Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set, and Woodland Embossing Folder.

Christmas in July: Snowman Season

Welcome to my first Christmas in July post featuring Stampin’ Up!’s Snowman Season stamp set!

Christmas in July: Snowman Season

Did you know Stampin’ Up! offers a great selection of holiday, Christmas, and winter-themed stamp sets in the Annual Catalog? That means you can start your holiday card making now while you have some time on your hands.

Each Thursday during July, I’ll feature a different stamp set from the catalog for Christmas in July. (Stay tuned for the last Thursday of the month; I’ll share a card created with products from Stampin’ Up!’s August-December Mini Catalog. Ordering from this holiday catalog begins August 4.)

Christmas in July: Snowman Season

This is a super fun set carried over from last year’s Holiday Catalog. The Snowman Season stamp set and coordinating Snowman Builder Punch make a perfect pair.

Here are a few details of how this card came together:

  • Thick Whisper White card stock
  • Stamped Snowflakes with Misty Moonlight (stamped off several times)
  • Designer Series Paper from Flowers for Every Season
  • Silver Foil as an accent
  • Silver Metallic-Edged Ribbon
  • In Color Enamel Dots
  • Snowman colored with Stampin’ Blends

Stampin’ Up!’s Bonus Days are Back

Now through the end of July, receive a $5 bonus coupon when you spend $50 before tax and shipping. Redeem the code in August. Collect and redeem as many codes as you want. When August 4 rolls around, you’ll be able to use your coupons on new products from Stampin’ Up!’s August-December Mini Catalog. (I’ll have copies of that for you in the next few weeks.)

Remember, these codes are sent via email, so be sure you have a correct email address on file with me or Stampin’ Up! Also, when you receive the email, print it and/or save it in a special file on your computer. You’ll want to find these gems to use them for free product in August.

Thanks for stopping by today! I’d love to answer questions you have about creating handmade cards with rubber stamps, ink, and paper!

So Sentimental Birthday

Sharing a birthday card using Stampin’ Up!’s So Sentimental stamp set.

So Sentimental Birthday

Yikes, I peeked at July’s calendar! A ton of birthdays popped up! And, two of them take place July 1.

What do you do when you need a bunch of cards in a hurry? You use a sketch, a blank sample, found online or on Pinterest. Then, you fill in the blanks. So easy!

I’m using this current sketch.

So Sentimental BirthdaySo Sentimental Birthday

I grabbed Stampin’ Up”s So Sentimental stamp set and coordinating Stitched So Sweetly Dies. The So Sentimental Bundle is $48.50. Read below to see how you can get it free through June 30.

So Sentimental Birthday

Here’s what I used to make this quick and easy birthday card, perfect for men and women.

  • Calypso Coral card stock base, cut at 5/12 inches by 8 1/2 inches and scored at 4 1/4 inches
  • Playing with Patterns 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper, cut at 3 x 4 1/4
  • Night of Navy, cut at 3 1/4 x 4 1/2
  • Whisper White scrap die cut with label from Stitched So Sweetly
  • Night of Navy 1 x 5, trimmed with Banner Triple Punch on each end
  • Basic pearls colored with Calypso Coral and Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends

This  design helped me create a stack of cards to get in the mail.

Stampin’ Friends: Happy Fourth

Happy Fourth of July! Welcome to the Stampin’ Friends June Blog Hop.

Thanks for joining us on this blog hop! We’re featuring a variety of cards and projects demonstrating what’s going on in our corner of the world. Follow the list of hoppers at the end of this post. Be sure to leave a comment.

Happy Fourth

The 4th of July doesn’t rate as one of the top card-sending holidays. But, why not? I have the supplies, so make the card and send it.

Stampin' Friends Happy Fourth

I used a bunch of Stampin’ Up! products to make this festive and celebratory card come together:

  • Poppy Parade, Misty Moonlight, and Whisper White Card Stock
  • Flowers for Every Season 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper
  • Nature’s Thoughts Dies
  • Stitched Stars Dies
  • Comfort and Hope Stamp Set
  • Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set
  • Classic Label Punch
  • Misty Moonlight Classic Stamp Pad

Treat Favor

Headed to a party? Give this cute 4th of July treat to a party hostess. Or make a bunch for your own party guests. I decorated one of Stampin’ Up!’s Clear Tiny Treat Boxes and filled them with holiday themed jelly beans.

Stampin' Friends Happy Fourth 3D

These 2 x 2 Clear Acetate Boxes make perfect receptacles for a variety of treats. I used the same supplies for this package as the card. I added the Misty Moonlight In Color Ribbon to top off the package.

All of the supplies used to create both the card and the treat package are found in Stampin’ Up!’s new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.

Stampin’ Up!’s 2020-2021 Annual Catalog is live! Yay!

2020-2021 Annual Catalog is Live

What does this mean? Why I am so excited? Stampin’ Up’s new catalog features a host of brand-new products — from stamp sets and coordinating dies, to Designer Series Paper, to punches, to ribbon, to kits, to embellishments, and more.

If you ordered from me during the past six to nine months, you should have received a new catalog in the mail. If you aren’t currently working with another Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I’d love to help you.

Here’s the link to the PDF of the catalog.

Brand-New In Colors

Each year, we look forward to playing with a brand-new set of In Colors. They’re always on trend with what’s happening in the world around us.

This year’s new colors are: Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Bumble Bee, and Misty Moonlight.

For this card, I used all of the new colors, but the base, the Designer Series Paper, and ribbon are all Bumble Bee.

I hope you enjoy these colors as much as I do.
