Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2023 Mini Catalog and SaleABration promotion go live Thursday, January 5. It’s exciting to purchase brand-new paper crafting products. This 90-page catalog offers great new stamp sets, coordinating dies, punches, Designer Series Paper, ribbon, and jewels and more.
Catalogs are on the way (or already arrived) for those who have shopped with me recently. Don’t have a current demonstrator? Contact me and I’ll get paper copies of the catalogs in the mail to you.
As a demonstrator, I was able to order early and bought the Silly Goose stamp set. My friend — with the last name of Goos — celebrates her birthday this month. I created a variety of cards to give as a gift. The sayings and images are just so cute!
This week, I’ll share samples of the cards I made for her.
Silly Goose Card Samples
In addition to the Silly Goose stamp set, I used the Day at the Farm 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper for both of these cards. Earn this paper free during SaleABration with a $50 order before tax and shipping. (Just a note: the paper coordinates with the On the Farm Bundle in the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog.) But I feel these farm and country images pair well with the Silly Goose stamp set, too.
It’s easy to add just a little bit of color to the images with Stampin’ Up!’s Stampin’ Blends and Stampin’ Writer Markers. These clean and simple cards make a fun gift.

In between the holiday preparations, people are still celebrating birthdays. I like to have birthday cards on hand so I can easily put them in the mail. This birthday card offers a versatile layout that can be created with a variety of patterned papers and stamp sets. I used Stampin’ Up!’s Go-To Greetings stamp set and Design a Daydream Designer Series Paper to complete this project. Find both of these in Stampin’ Up!’s 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.
Please enjoy the free card-making tutorial below. Click here to see a handmade Christmas card and how-to video using the same layout.

Warm Welcome Bundle Samples
I have no idea what kind of card Stampin’ Up! will make with this bundle on October 1. So I wanted to see what I could make with it. In this post, I share a few of the samples I created with the Warm Welcome stamp and the Welcome Home Dies. The included sentiments and images work well for a variety of occasions. It’s a perfect bundle to welcome someone to the family, to the neighborhood, to your home, to celebrate birthdays, to say congratulations, and more.
The item number to order is: #160704 and the cost is $50.25 for the bundle.
Warm Welcome Bundle How to Video
I hope you enjoy my samples, and I encourage you to participate in World Card Making Day. If you can’t watch October 1, you’ll be able to access the recording later.

Stampin’ Up!’s Season of Chic Bundle attracted my attention because it contains images and dies that can be used for all of the seasons. This makes it versatile–something I can use year round. It includes seashells for summer, leaves for fall, snowflakes for winter, and flowers for spring. Find it on pages 98 and 99 of Stampiin’ Up!’s 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.
The bundle includes the Season of Chic stamp set and the Chic Dies. The bundled price includes a 10 percent discount. And, the Texture Chic 12 x 12 Designer Series is a must-have item. I love the gold highlights in the sheets.
I grabbed this bundle from the shelf to create a birthday for a friend who loves the beach. The seashells images work perfectly as does the sentiment. I also added Petal Pink panel embossed with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder.
With just a little bit of extra time to play, I created the two additional cards below with different elements from the suite.
The card above features a flower image, stamped and die cut.
And, this final card uses the “swoosh” element. It reminds me of a similar image from the Work of Art stamp set. I loved using it for backgrounds and tried it here. The Designer Series Paper above comes from the Design a Daydream 12 x 12 package. (Earn it free as a hostess. Ask me how!)
