I’m having so much fun with my Christmas in July installments for 2022! It’s fun getting a jumpstart on making those handmade holiday cards while playing with brand-new paper crating products.
Today’s card features the Twinkling Lights Dies (found on page 32 of Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2022 Mini Catalog), Lights Aglow 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper, and the Glimmer 12 x 12 Specialty Paper. (I just love this glimmer paper, and it’s gorgeous when die cut with the Christmas tree from the dies.)
In addition to all of the above, it’s a fun fold card: an easel card. Think of all the different stamp sets and patterned paper you could use with this design.
Here’s a side view of the easel fold.

Welcome to Team Stamp It’s July Blog Hop! This month, we feature Christmas in July cards and projects. Be sure to visit all of the blogs on the hop to get a host of holiday inspiration. Leave a comment on each with the hashtag #stampitcontest for a chance to win a Million Thanks Card Kit.
My card today features the Trees for Sale stamp set (page 39 of Stampin’ Up! July-December 2022 Mini Catalog) and the Tree Lot Dies . (Please note: These dies have sold out and are no longer available. However, I have a set available on my BOGO sale. Click here for details.)
I have to admit, I wasn’t going to get these dies. I’m just not a fan of little pieces. But my friend and fellow demonstrator, Ginger, sold me on the dies and the stamp set. (I think it was the puppy that sealed the deal.)
Now, I’m thinking of all the ways to use all those little pieces I was complaining about.
Note: SaleABration items are available while supplies last. So if you like these, get them sooner rather than later. Click here to see the other items available during SaleABration.
Tree Lot Dies Christmas Card
I created this card for my Christmas in July in-person card class. The participants loved it!
Hint: I applied Stampin’ Up!’s adhesive sheets to the card stock before die cutting the smaller pieces for the camper. This made it easier to assemble; we didn’t have to figure out how to get glue or tape on the tiny pieces.
I also used a piece of the Gingham Cottage 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper, available in the July-December Mini Catalog. This package boasts 48 sheets, and it’s perfect for all of your fall and holiday crafting projects.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today. I hope you enjoy this Christmas card, and I hope you’re inspired to start creating your own.
Please let me know if I can help in any way.
Remember to visit all of the blogs on the hop and leave a comment for a chance to win A Million Thanks Card Kit.
Congratulations to Kay Grover who won last month’s contest.

I love showcasing holiday cards for Christmas in July! Today’s card features the Christmas Lights Bundle. Find it on page 31 of Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. I initially purchased the coordinating Lights Aglow 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (DSP) first. It’s just gorgeous with all of its gold accents. Then, I had to have the Christmas Lights Stamps Set and Twinkling Lights Dies. Buy them as a bundle and save 10 percent $45.75 US).

I initially selected this set because the images lend themselves to all four seasons. (Click here to see another post for samples using this stamp set.)
In addition to using the snowflake image from the stamp set, I used a piece of Designer Series Paper from Lights Aglow (found in the new July-December 2022 Mini Catalog), and sentiment from the Sweet Candy Canes Stamp Set (also found in the new holiday mini).
But what’s most fun about this card is the layout. It’s so adaptable. I challenged my team to use it during our Mystery Stamping at our recent team meeting.
Season of Chic Christmas
The layout is simple:
Card base measures 11″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″ and folded
A piece of Designer Series Paper measuring 5 1/4″ x 4″
Three squares measuring 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″. I used the square from the Stylish Shapes Dies
Another rectangle measuring 3/4″ x 3″
Embellishments
I had so much fun creating this first card, I made several more using a variety of other Stampin’ Up! products.
Another “Christmas in July” sample, this card features the Sweet Candy Canes Stamp set and coordinating Sweetest Christmas 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper.
The card above uses Stampin’ Up!’s Hippest Hippos Stamp Set. Earn it free during SaleABration for a $50 purchase before tax and shipping.
For this next card, I used Stampin’ Up!’s Sweetest Cherries Stamp Set and Cherry Builder Punch. The Designer Series Paper comes from the Sweetest Christmas 12 x 12 package.
