Stampin’ Up!’s SaleABration sale continues one more month — through September 30, 2021. Be sure to take advantage of the freebies while you can. Other choices include exclusive stamp sets and fun packages of Designer Series Paper.
This card uses two items you can earn free with minimum purchases before tax and shipping:
Summer Shadows Dies (free with $100 purchase). Coordinates with Shaded Summer stamp set from the Annual Catalog. Find them on page 75. Here’s a post that shows a fun gift ensemble created with these dies.
Summer Shadows Dies Fun Fold
This card also uses a fun fold — the Book Binding Fold. Be sure to watch the video (a Facebook live replay) below to see how this card goes together. The base of the card measures 11 x 4 1/2 inches. Score at 5 1/2 inches and 4 1/4 inches.
Other Stampin’ Up! products used to create this card include:
Polished Pink card stock and Polished Pink Classic Stampin’ Pad
Very Vanilla thick and regular card stock
Memento Ink
Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder
Polished Pink, Soft Succulent, and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends
Polished Pink 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon
Above is the same card created with a Fresh Freesia emphasis.
Below is a similar card I created using the same products as above, but without the fun fold.

It’s not a secret that Stampin’ Up!s rubber stamps, ink, paper, and embellishments create beautiful, handmade greeting cards. But, I also love making gift packaging.
I made this gift ensemble for my team member, Gina Caravetta, to recognize her for being able to attend BackStage@Home, Stampin’ Up!’s leadership gathering. We attended virtually this last weekend, we received a host of tools to grow our teams and businesses and met other demonstrators from throughout the world.
Summer Shadows Dies Gifts
For this present, I used Stampin’ Up!’s Summer Shadows Dies. Earn these dies free during the SaleABration promotion with an order of $100 before tax and shipping. (Offer good through September 30, 2021, or while supplies last.) Be sure to check the brochure with the above link to view the other nine items you can receive free (with minimum purchases) during this promotion. The offerings include exclusive stamp sets and fantastic packages of Designer Series Paper.
These dies coordinate with the Shaded Summer stamp set found in Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog on page 75.
I used a color combination of Night of Navy, Melon Mambo, and Granny Apple Green with a touch of Pool Party.
The packaging, available in the Annual catalog, includes the 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ inch acetate card boxes, the 3 1/8″ x 3 1/8″ acetate card boxes, and the 6 x 8 cellophane bags. I created the cute little bottle holder from a video I found online. All-in-all, the coordinating products make it so easy to create something cute and fun.

I love many things about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator! But perhaps the best part is the stamping community that comes with it .
During my almost-eleven years as a demonstrator, I’ve made so many lasting and valuable relationships with people who share my love of Stampin’ Up! and paper crafting.
I had a chance to gather with some of these women this last Saturday at a local team meeting. (I recently moved to Arizona from Nebraska so I have a great group there with whom I met this summer).
One of the fun things we do is “swap” our card creations. Each person designs one card and then creates enough for everyone participating. Then we “swap” or share our cards. I love that everyone has a different style and likes different papers and colors; it gives us some new ideas to implement in our own craft rooms.
This blog post features a look at the cards each of the participants created. The card shown at the top of the post is a remake of one of the cards I received from Ginger Borneman (Ginger Snap Stamps). Be sure to watch the accompanying video. I share these same cards and discuss them there.
It’s easy to become a part of our stamping community. Purchase Stampin’ Up!’s starter kit for just $99 + tax. You then get to choose $125 worth of any product of your choosing, and it’s shipped free. In addition, during SaleABration, get an extra FREE bundle. See the graphic below. You’re not required to host parties or teach classes, just enjoy your discount.

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Blog Hop! Thanks for joining us as we share our fall-related cards and projects. Be sure to visit all of the blogs on the hop and leave a comment with the hashtag #stampitcontest. You could win a Hello Dear Friend card kit.
Beauty of Friendship for Fall Card
My card uses Stampin’ Up!’s Beauty of Friendship stamp set and coordinating Beautiful Trees Dies. Buy them as a bundle and save 10 percent. Find these on page 11 of Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog. (Hint: When you purchase this bundle you qualify for a free SaleABration item — through September 30. You could choose the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper I used on today’s card.)
Fall cards offer the perfect time to bring out the baby wipe technique. That’s how I created the multi-colored foliage image of the tree.
Baby Wipe Technique
This technique is super fun and super easy. Lay a couple of baby wipes on a flat surface. Stampin’ Up!’s Silicone Mat works well as does wax paper. Drip drops of ink from Stampin’ Up!’s reinkers onto the baby wipes. I used fall colors I like such as Mango Melody, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, and Cajun Craze. The ink spreads as you randomly drop the ink onto the wipe. Be sure to fill in any blank spots.
Then, press your stamp onto the baby wipes, using it as an ink pad. Then stamp the image onto your card stock. You can reuse this “pad” many times to make the most out of your ink. I often move the stamp around on the wipe to get different color patterns. Be sure to experiment with different colors and patterns to get the look you like.
Ink Spritzing
Ink spritzing is another fun technique. I love the sparkle of the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper. (Get it free with a $50 purchase — before tax and shipping — during SaleABration while supplies last). But, I wanted a different color. So I added it myself.
I poured 91 percent rubbing alcohol into one of Stampin’ Up!’s spritzers and added six drops of Cajun Craze reinker. Then, I sprayed my thin strips of Be Dazzling paper. Just think of all the different colors you could use!
Be sure to watch the below video to see how this card came together.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Remember to visit all of the blogs and leave a comment for a chance to win a free card kit. Congrats to last month’s winner: Elizabeth Paulus.

I continue my review of the great offerings during Stampin’ Up!’s SaleABration sale. Remember, you receive free product with minimum purchases of $50 and $100. Choose from 10 items that include exclusive stamp sets, dies, and Designer Series Paper. Click here to see a PDF of the catalog.
The card at the top showcases Stampin’ Up!’s #simplestamping. Each month, Stampin’ Up! issues a #simplestamping challenge. This month we create a handmade greeting using just rubber stamps, ink, and paper with SaleABration products. I used the coordinating colors of Poppy Parade, So Saffron, and Pacific Point to create this bright and cheery birthday card.
I paired the images from the Textures & Frames stamp set with Stampin’ Up!’s Sunny Sentiments stamp set found on page 38 of the Annual Catalog. The sentiments included in this set cover most of the occasions for which I send cards. (Be sure to watch the video at the end of this post to see how this card is created. It’s a Facebook Live replay. I go live each Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. Pacific Time. Join me!)
