I have a love, love relationship with Designer Series Paper. I love patterned paper, and I buy patterned paper. Then, I have to use the paper! A never-ending cycle. But it’s a fun problem to have!
With the launch of Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2024 Mini Catalog and SaleABration earlier this month, there’s a lot of new packages of Designer Series Paper with which to create. And, it’s all so pretty!
In today’s post, I share a super easy design that showcases larger pieces of the Designer Series Papers. I CASEd this design from page 63 of Stampin’ Up!’s 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. (As an aside, CASE means Copy and Share Everything. In the stamping and creative world, we pride ourselves on sharing with others to offer inspiration.) Then, I “stepped” the card up, adding a few extra elements.
Once I got started creating these DIY birthday cards, I couldn’t stop experimenting with all of the new papers. Be sure to watch the video below to see all of the samples.

Most Adored Treat Box
My project is a cute DIY Valentine treat box. I modeled it after the sample found on page 3 of Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2024 Mini Catalog. I filled the treat package with a box of Conversation Hearts, but it’s large enough to hold a variety of snacks and/or small gift items. Can you see other uses for these fun boxes? Wedding favors? Shower favors?
Be sure to watch the video below to see how this project comes together. I give step-by-step directions from my craft room in Mesa, Arizona.
Here are a few details to get you started:
The base is the Envelope Treat Boxes. Before putting the box together, trim off one end.
