For the last several months, I’ve been playing with all of the free offerings. I try to make as many cards (as time allows) with the sets, papers, and dies. Today’s card uses the Stamparatus, Stampin’ Up!’s stamp positioning tool, to create a fun background for a bright and cheery birthday card. The Stamparatus sells for $49. The video below shows how I created this multi-color background with one of the design images from the set. The “candles” use another of the images; I added rhinestones to act as the flames on the candles. I created the different color candles by applying ink from Stampin’ Up!’s Stampin’ Write markers directly to the stamp. The birthday sentiments comes from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set.

I love many things about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator! But perhaps the best part is the stamping community that comes with it .
During my almost-eleven years as a demonstrator, I’ve made so many lasting and valuable relationships with people who share my love of Stampin’ Up! and paper crafting.

I love that everyone has a different style and likes different papers and colors; it gives us some new ideas to implement in our own craft rooms.

The card at the top showcases Stampin’ Up!’s #simplestamping. Each month, Stampin’ Up! issues a #simplestamping challenge. This month we create a handmade greeting using just rubber stamps, ink, and paper with SaleABration products. I used the coordinating colors of Poppy Parade, So Saffron, and Pacific Point to create this bright and cheery birthday card.
I paired the images from the Textures & Frames stamp set with Stampin’ Up!’s Sunny Sentiments stamp set found on page 38 of the Annual Catalog. The sentiments included in this set cover most of the occasions for which I send cards. (Be sure to watch the video at the end of this post to see how this card is created.
