If you’re like me, you love Stampin’ Up!’s coordination. Not only the color coordination, but also how the stamp sets and dies and stamp sets and punches work so well together.
That’s why the Layering Leaves stamp set and Bough Punch appeal to me. They complement each other, and make crafting not only easy, but successful.
Layering Leaves Card Samples
In today’s post, I share handmade greeting card samples using the Layering Leaves stamp set and Bough Punch. The card featured at the top of the post uses the coordinating colors of Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, and Night of Navy with Crumb Cake. I pulled the colors used in the Masterfully Made 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. I love taking color inspiration from Stampin’ Up!’s gorgeous patterned papers.
Here are a few measurements to help you get started. Be sure to watch the video below to view step-by-step directions for putting this card together.
Crumb Cake layer measuring 5″ x 3 3/4″ partially embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder
Melon Mambo card stock measuring 5 1/4″ x 4″
Night of Navy base measuring 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Masterfully Made DSP measuring 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
Vellum cut with Stylish Shapes Dies
Linen Thread
Glossy Dots Assortment
The above card uses the same elements, but in a different format.
And, here’s another one using heat embossing for the sentiment and the Nested Labels Dies.

In Color Treat Bag Ideas
In today’s post and related video (Facebook Live replay), I offer several ideas for using these In Color Treat Bags in different ways.
The first photo at the top of this post shows a Moody Mauve bag accented with current Stampin’ Up! product that includes:
Circle Sayings Bundle
Moody Mauve and Bubble Bath Classic Stampin’ Ink Pads
Subtles 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper
Nested Essentials Dies
Stylish Shapes Dies

I created a variety of these bags as a gift for those attending a recent event. The bags hold three of Stampin’ Up!’s notecards and envelopes.
Give the bag a little fold, add a belly band, and you create a fun pouch. I added some Stampin’ Dimensionals for a little gift as well as a sweet treat in the bag below.
Some of the Stampin’ Up! products used, in addition to the treat bags, include:

Countryside Corners Dies
Fresh Freesia and Orchid Oasis Classic Stampin’ Ink Pads
Orchid Oasis Baker’s Twine

if you’re looking for a versatile die set, Stampin’ Up!’s brand-new Countryside Corners Dies fits that wish list. Find it on page 156 of the new Annual Catalog.
These dies work well for layering, for sentiments, as frames, and much more. Click here to see how I used the dies to create a fun and easy treat packet.
In today’s post, I share a pocket card I created with these dies. I made it for a card swap with my team.
Countryside Corners Pocket Card
Here are some measurements to help you make this card at home. (Also, be sure to watch the quick video below. I offer stamp-by-step instructions.)
Night of Navy card stock base measures 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
Basic White card stock base measures 5 1/4″ x 4″. Embossed with Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.
Use the largest Countryside Corner Die to die cut a piece from your choice of Designer Series Paper.
Score this piece 1 1/2 inches from the top, fold, and adhere with a Glue Dot.
Apply a thin layer of glue to the backside of your design — only on the sides and bottom. Do not glue the top.
You’ve created a pocket.
I added a bow with the Balmy Blue Variegated Ribbon.
Now, make a tag insert.
Use the third largest die to die cut a piece of Balmy Blue card stock.
My sentiment comes from Stampn’ Up!’s Go To Greetings stamp set. Stamped in Night of Navy ink.
I added a flower created with the Petal Park Bundle (stamped in Night of Navy ink.) Add an Iridescent Pearl in the center of the largest flower.

Do you like to make items in addition to greeting cards with your paper crafting products? I know I love to make small treat packets and gift packaging. They’re fun to give out at classes and special events and to celebrate birthdays, say thank you, and more. These are also perfect for bridal or baby shower partyfavors.
These dies make great frames for cards, and they pair with the Countryside stamp set. But they’re also large enough to make a treat holder.
Countryside Corners Treat Holder
And, this design is easy peasy. Here are a few details. Be sure to watch the video below (a Facebook live replay) to see step-by-step instructions for making these fun treat packets.
Use the largest die to cut the image from card stock (5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″)
Score the die cut 2 1/4″ on each end
Choose the second largest die and cut some coordinating Designer Series Paper
Trim two inches off each end of the image.
Fold the card stock on the score lines
Glue the DSP to each side
Insert candy
Pinch the top of the packet together and punch a hole with a small hole punch
Add ribbon
Decorate as you wish
Enjoy these two additional samples. Which one is your favorite?
The above packets uses the Starry Sky design from the 2022-2023 In Color 6 x 6 Paper Pack with a sentiment from Country Bouquet and flower from Petal Park.
And this last sample uses the Bright & Beautiful 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper with a sentiment from the Circle Sayings Stamp Set.

Today, I share a fun fold created with a variety of the Designer Series Papers that will be on sale. In addition, I used the Circle Sayings Bundle to create the sentiment for all five cards. It’s fun to see how the images can be mixed and matched. Here are the basic measurements for the card. (Be sure to watch the video at the end of the post to view step-by-step instructions for making this card at home.)
Card stock base measure 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
Card stock measuring 8 1/2″ x 3 1/4″, scored at 4 1/4″
Designer Series Paper of choice: One piece measuring 5 1/4 x 4″ and one measuring 3″ x 4″
Sentiment of choice with die cut or punch. I used Stampin’ Up!’s Circle Sayings Bundle for all of the examples.
I love this fun fold because it offers an opportunity to showcase the patterned paper in different ways. Which one is your favorite?
