Layering Leaves Card Samples

If you’re like me, you love Stampin’ Up!’s coordination. Not only the color coordination, but also how the stamp sets and dies and stamp sets and punches work so well together.

That’s why the Layering Leaves stamp set and Bough Punch appeal to me. They complement each other, and make crafting not only easy, but successful.

Layering Leaves Card Samples

In today’s post, I share handmade greeting card samples using the Layering Leaves stamp set and Bough Punch. The card featured at the top of the post uses the coordinating colors of Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, and Night of Navy with Crumb Cake. I pulled the colors used in the Masterfully Made 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. I love taking color inspiration from Stampin’ Up!’s gorgeous patterned papers.

Here are a few measurements to help you get started. Be sure to watch the video below to view step-by-step directions for putting this card together.

  • Crumb Cake layer measuring 5″ x 3 3/4″ partially embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder
  • Melon Mambo card stock measuring 5 1/4″ x 4″
  • Night of Navy base measuring 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
  • Masterfully Made DSP measuring 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
  • Vellum cut with Stylish Shapes Dies
  • Linen Thread
  • Glossy Dots Assortment
