Forever Florals for Mom

Welcome to Team Stamp It’s April Blog Hop. Thanks so much for joining us! This month, we feature cards and projects centering on a Mother’s Day theme. Be sure to visit all of the blogs on the hop. Leave a comment and you could win a Birthday Sparkle Kit.

My Mother’s Day card today features Stampin’ Up!’s Forever Florals Bundle. I know my mom loved flowers, planting beds in the spring to enjoy all summer long.

Forever Florals Bundle

I did grab the sentiment “You are so lovely” from Stampin’ Up’s Lovely Arrangements Photopolymer Stamp Set.

Card Measurements and Details

  • Thick Basic White Cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Basic White Cardstock panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4, die cut with large floral image
  • Stamped flowers in Lemon Lime Twist, Bubble Bath, Balmy Blue, and Lemon Lolly
  • Sentiment (Lovely Arrangements) stamped in Balmy Blue on Basic White label (Lovely Arrangements)
  • Rhinestone Basic Jewels

It’s so simple, but it’s so pretty! I love the subtle, pastel colors I chose for this card. You could use any combination of colors for the flowers to suit a mom’s likes.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today! I hope you enjoyed this project.

Eyelet Blooms Die Thank You

Eyelet Blooms Die Thank You

This is what happens when I’m working on several projects at a time! My craft table (an extended dining room table) is covered with an array of projects in mid-completion. I’ve been playing with Stampin’ Up!’s new Product of the Month (the Eyelet Blooms Die), while designing for this week’s in-person classes using the Forever Florals Bundle. And, I have remnants from last month’s class using the Lovely Arrangements Bundle. All those pieces came together on this thank you card.

Each month, Stampin’ Up! releases a new and exclusive Product of the Month. When your online shopping card total reaches $75 (before tax, shipping, and any redeemed rewards), you can purchase the Product of the Month for just $5. Limit of one per customer. Available while supplies last.

  • Crumb Cake cardstock base measuring 11 x 4 1/4, scored at 5 1/2
  • With a water painter and Secret Sea ink refill, I splattered ink onto the Crumb Cake cardstock front card panel–Just to add a little interest.
  • Bubble Bath Two-Tone Cardstock die cut with the Eyelet Blooms Die. Cut down to a 3 x 3 square.
