Eyelet Blooms Die Hello

Eyelet Blooms Die Hello

I just love getting Stampin’ Up!’s Product of the Month each month; I enjoy the challenge of creating with a brand-new product! This month is no different. The Eyelet Blooms Die is a stunner!

Remember: You can purchase the Product of the Month for just $5 when your online shopping cart totals $75 (before tax, shipping, and any redeemed rewards). Available while supplies last. Limited to one per customer.

Eyelet Blooms Die

I appreciate all of the possibilities this large background die offers. See my first creation here. I used Stampin’ Up!’s Silicone Craft Sheet to emboss my paper instead of die cutting. Be sure to watch this video to see how it’s done.

Measurements and Details

  • Thick Basic White cardstock base measuring 11 x 4 1/4, scored and folded at 5 1/2
  • Crumb Cake cardstock panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4, die cut with the Eyelet Blooms Die. (Tip: Place the die cut side up on your die cutting platform, add the paper, and then the clear plate. This helps the die cut all of the smaller pieces so you don’t have to spend time poking the pieces out.)
  • Basic White cardstock piece measuring 4 x 1 7/8
  • Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper (Crumb Cake and white flower pattern) measuring 4 x 1 3/4
  • Basic White cardstock die cut with die from Forever Florals Dies — small label
  • Sentiment from Beach Time Photopolymer Stamp Set stamped in Crumb Cake ink. Note: This stamp set is on the Last Chance list. You can easily substitute something already in your collection.
  • Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine (Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack)

This really is a quick and easy card. I let the Eyelet Blooms Die do most of the work! I hope you like it!

Thanks so much for visiting today. I hope you’re inspired to place an order and add this die. Happy stamping!

Notes of Spring for Easter

Notes of Spring for Easter

I hope you’ve seen Stampin’ Up!’s newest Product of the Month: the Notes of Spring Photopolymer Stamp Set. The cute little animals are just perfect for sweet cards. I think the bunny image makes a great addition to an Easter card.

Notes of Spring Photopolymer Stamp Set

For today’s card, I used the same layout as yesterday’s post. See that post by clicking here. But I changed the colors and the sentiment to create an Easter card.

Measurements and Details

  • Fresh Freesia cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Fresh Freesia cardstock panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4, embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder
  • Sentiment from the Choose Happy Photopolymer Stamp Set stamped with Gorgeous Grape.
  • Bunny image stamped in Gorgeous Grape. I stamped the outline of the rabbit in full strength ink. Then, for the body, I inked the stamp with Gorgeous Grape, “stamped off” on a piece of scrap paper, and then stamped the body within the outline.
  • Colored the grass with Old Olive Light Stampin’ Blend
  • Linen Thread
  • Rhinestone Basic Jewels

Clean & Simple

I designed this card in line with Stampin’ Up!’s March creative challenge (#CreativeChallengeSU): to create a clean and simple card. From their Facebook post, I learned that clean and simple isn’t necessarily plain and boring. It actually comes with three principles attached. A clean and simple card includes:

  • A lot of negative space
  • Cluster element
  • Texture

I hope you like this sweet little card! More to come with the Notes of Spring stamp set. Remember, it’s Stampin’ Up!’s Product of the Month. When your online order total reaches $75 or more (before tax, shipping, and any redeemed rewards), add this stamp set to your card for just $5. Limit one set per customer. Available while supplies last. Click here to start shopping.
