I just love that you can die cut the hearts from the Sweet Talk 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper for the card above.
The Supple Shimmer Specialty Paper is a new offering in the upcoming mini catalog. I die cut some hearts with it for the above card.

Dragonfly Garden New Year Card
My creation features Stampin’ Up!’s Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set, found in the Annual Catalog on page 23. I think this sentiment sums up my feelings perfectly: May Good Things Grow All Year Long. In addition, I threw in a sneak peek of the Daffodil Afternoon 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. (It’s a free product choice during Stampin’ Up!’s SaleABration sale that starts Tuesday, January 4.) The pieces of Designer Series Paper measure 5 inches x 1 inch. I placed them equal distance apart on a Flirty Flamingo piece measuring 5 1/4 x 4 inches.
The above shows the inside of the card. The sentiment comes from the A Wish for Everything stamp set in the Annual Catalog. I stamped the flower image in Flirty Flamingo (stamped off twice) and added a scrap piece of the Designer Series Paper.
Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to leave a comment with the hashtag #stampitcontest. You could win a free card kit.
Congratulations to last month’s winner: Jennifer Arent.

Each month, Stampin’ Up! issues a #simplestamping challenge to its demonstrators worldwide. We go back to the basics and focus on creating a card with just rubber stamps, ink, and paper. This month, we add an extra element: ribbon.
Although I need a few more Christmas cards, I also use a lot of thank you cards this time of year. I’ve received a number of heartfelt gifts, and I want the givers to understand how much I appreciate them thinking of me.
Evergreen Elegance #simplestamping
I turned to #simplestamping to help me create s stack of cards I can have handy and get in the mail right away. This card uses:
Art Gallery Photopolymer Stamp Set (sentiment) also found in the Annual Catalog
Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper from the Annual Catalog
This layout features three strips of Designer Series Paper each measuring 5 1/4 inches by 1 4/ inches. I spaced them equal distance apart on the Soft Succulent card base. Imagine creating a host of different backgrounds with Stampin’ Up!’s huge array of patterned papers.
The white stamped piece measures 2 inches by 3 1/2 inches, and the Evening Evergreen layer measures 2 1/4 inches by 3 1/2 inches. I topped it off with a bow created with the Soft Succulent 3/8 inch Open Weave Ribbon.
As I’ve said before, I’m a clean and simple stamper and this basic layout and design really appeals to me. It will be easy to create a stack in a short time.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you’ve enjoyed my #simplestamping project.
