Your Biggest Fan Father’s Day
I’m going to miss the Hey Sports Fan Suite from Stampin’ Up!’s January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. It officially retires June 30, but elements of the suite will only be available while supplies last. (Hint: So, if you like any of the components, get them before they’re gone.) The Designer Series Paper sports some fantastic designs. I’ve ordered an extra package to have on hand for those masculine greetings cards.
In addition to the baseball-themed products in this suite collection, I used a brand-new item from Stampin’ Up!’s 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. I love the Mini Pocket Envelope Dies to create a quick and easy gift card holder. Use it separately, or attach it to a card front like I did for this card. (See this post for additional samples using the Mini Pocket Envelope Die.)
All of the elements from the suite work together to make card making easy! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. I hope you’re inspired to make your own creations with the Hey Sports Fan Suite and the Mini Envelope Pocket Dies.
Look for more Father’s Day inspiration from the other talented stampers participating in the blog hop. Visit them all and leave a comment for a chance to win the Brewed for You Bundle.
I’m so excited to offer my first “class to go.” I offer four different kit options that include eight cards (two each of four designs) as well as a tutorial. Click here for more information and to order.

I hope you’re enjoying Stampin’ Up!’s new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog! Sometimes, it takes awhile to discover all of the really fun and cool paper crafting products offered. The Mini Pocket Envelope dies present a lot of possibilities. Find this one in the back of the catalog on page 172.You can use any Designer Series Paper, almost any stamp set, and an array of embellishments with the die set to make handmade creations.
My first thoughts ran to treat packet holders. Then, I saw gift card holders — as a stand-alone project and as an attachment to a card. Use them for graduations, weddings, birthdays, and Christmas.
Today, I share a couple of versions of this with you. I know there are so many options!
The pocket can be used alone or on the front of a card.
This die is perfect for a graduation gift card holder.
Let’s not forget Christmas gift card holders.
I hope you enjoy these projects. Be sure to watch the video (a Facebook Live replay from May 17, 2022) to see how i created these holders.

Be sure to have some gift card holders on hand when you get those invites in the mail!
Paper crafting lends itself to a variety of gift card designs. I’ve shared several different varieties in past blog posts. Check them out here and here.
Today, I offer yet a another design. I grabbed this idea from two of my team members who made cards for our recent team gathering. The card below features a sentiment from the Slim Sayings stamp set and the Hey Sports Fan 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper, both found in Stampin’ Up!’s January-June 2022 Mini Catalog.
Graduation Gift Card Holder Cutting Directions
Start by cutting a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 card stock in half the long way. You have a piece that measures 11 x 4 1/4.
Score this piece at 1 1/4 inches and 5 1/2 inches.
Fold the card in half and then fold the small piece “inside” the card to form a place to hold the gift card.
Decorate accordingly.
Watch the video at the end of this post to see how this one comes together.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. Please let me know if you have questions about creating this easy gift card holders.

I love treat packets! It’s so much fun creating them, filling them with goodies, and giving them out! I’m always on the lookout for a new and different design. I came upon this one while browsing Pinterest and changed the Designer Series Paper to fit my theme. (Be sure to watch the video at the end of this post to see how I made this.)
Here’s another example of a treat packet I made with Stampin’ Up!’s Hey Sports Fan 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper.
