Cheers to the Season Thankful
If you’re like me, you often appreciate a simple card that’s easy to replicate. That’s why I like the sketch, or design, of this card. The focal point includes one large image in a circle, bookended by two other smaller circles. You could create a handful of these quickly and easily. And, think of the many stamp sets and patterned paper you can add to this layout.
Here are the products I used to create this thankful card:
Cheers to the Season Stamp Set. Gold heat emboss leaf image with gold embossing on Wild Wheat Card Stock. Die cut with largest circle from Stylish Shapes Dies.
Die cut two of the second largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies from the 2023-2025 In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.
Emboss a piece of Pecan Pie Card Stock with the Fall Leaf 3D Embossing Folder (Online Exclusive)
Layer on Wild Wheat Card Stock measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
Wrap Gold 1/8 Trim (Online Exclusive) around and tie a bow
Add 2023-2025 In Color Dots (Wild Wheat)
I love this stamp set because it covers a range of occasions: fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and new year’s day. Think of using the “cheers” image for a birthday card, anniversary card, or event wedding card.
Every once in awhile, the scraps and leftover pieces on the craft table serve to inspire another project. I had a pile of little trees — remnants of Stampin’ Up!’s Tiny Christmas Trees Die — sitting on my table. A friend asked what I was going to do with all those little pieces. Create a shaker card, of course.
Today, I’m sharing that fun shaker card project with you.

Have you seen cards created by others and posted online and just need to try them? That’s how I felt with the rocker cards. I’ve seen them posted on a lot of paper crafting web sites in the last few weeks. They look so fun and cute. My teammate, Dawn Seelhoff, shared a rocker card on her blog, Dawn’s Inklings. A Walk in the Forest Rocker Card
This card uses a variety of current Stampin’ Up! product. I recap it for you below:
Second largest circle from the Deckled Circles Dies. Cut from Balmy Blue card stock measuring 5 1/2 x 5 1/2, folded in the middle. Burnish well with a Bone Folder.
Third largest circle from the Deckled Circles Dies. Cut from dotted white pattern from A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper — DSP measures 5 1/4 x 5 1/4. Cut this in half and will make two cards.
Basic White measuring 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 die cut with the third largest circle from the Deckled Circle Dies. Cut in half. Serves as middle piece for two cards.
Sentiment from Merriest Trees stamp set stamped in Garden Green ink on Basic White label die cut from Labels Aglow Dies.
Add some bling with Iridescent Rhinestone Jewels
This fun, handmade greeting card still fits in one of Stampin’ Up!’s Medium Envelopes. And it’s super cute to display!

Sometimes it’s nice to have that one card layout you can use for any card. It works well with an assortment of patterned papers, stamp sets, and themes. Today, I share one of those layouts with you.
PAPER – Poppy Parade Cardstock (119793), Granny Apple Green Cardstock (146990), Basic White Cardstock (159276), Merry Bold & Bright Designer Series Paper (DSP) (161945)
INK – Granny Apple Green (147095)
OTHER –Parakeet Party 1/8” Metallic Woven Ribbon, Stampin’ Seal (152813), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)
Cutting & Scoring:
Poppy Parade Cardstock – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
Basic White Cardstock – 5 ¼” x 2”, 4 ½” x 2”, 3 ¼” x 2 ¼”, 5 ¼” x 4”
Granny Apple Green Cardstock – 3 ½” x 2 ½”
DSP – 5” x 1 ¾” (Fa La La Design), 4 ¼” x 1 ¾” (Red Hat design)
Parakeet Party 1/8” Metallic Woven Ribbon – 8”
Instructions:
Stamp the sentiment on the 3 ¼” x 2 ¼” Basic White Cardstock. Layer on the Granny Apple Green Cardstock.
Attach the Fa La La DSP to the 5 ¼” x 2” Basic White Cardstock. Adhere the Red Hat DSP to the 4 ½” x 2” Basic White Cardstock.
On the folded Poppy Parade card base, add the panels, beginning on the left with the Fa La La layer, as shown above.
Tie a bow with the ribbon and place on the card front, right above the sentiment.
Adhere the remaining Basic White Cardstock to the middle of the card.
Here’s another example of this same layout using the Good Feelings stamp set and the Merry Bold and Bright Designer Series Paper. I love how this double-sided, patterned paper works well for both holiday and Christmas designs, as well as others.
And here’s another that uses the Joy to You stamp set with gold heat embossing and the Shining Brightly 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper.

I’m always looking for lots of different ways to use my stamp sets. Since the Circle Sayings stamp set debuted in Stampin’ Up!’s 2023-2024 Annual Catalog, I’ve had fun using it with different layouts and funs, different patterned papers, for different seasons, and different sentiments. Find it on page 17. Bundle it with the coordinating 2 3/8-inch Circle Punch and save 10 percent.
Today, I show a couple of examples that feature the Circle Sayings stamp set to create fall cards with the hugely popular All About Autumn Designer Series Paper and the Autumn Leaves Bundle. Both of these cards showcase versatile layouts that work with a variety of stamp sets and paper.
