The white heat embossing on the trees really makes the image stand out on the Gray Granite card stock.

I’ve been playing with this set and coordinating die cuts, Reindeer Dies, for a couple of weeks. This bundle offers so many opportunities to create a variety of cards. See this blog post for additional samples.

Layering Leaves Thank You Card

Welcome to the Stampers Dozen July Blog Hop. We’re so glad you joined us! This month, we feature handmade greeting cards and projects with a flower and garden theme. Be sure to visit all of the stampers to get inspired for your summer paper crafting projects. Look for a list of hoppers at the end of this post.

Layering Leaves Thank You Card

Layering Leaves Thank You Card

For my project, I chose to use the Layering Leaves stamp set. (Find it on page 96 of Stampin’ Up!’s 2023-2024 Annual Catalog.) I just love the font styles delivered in this set. I paired the thank you sentiment (heat embossed with white embossing powder) with an fun and easy way to use Designer Series Paper that showcase flowers.

The card above features just one of the flower-themed pieces from the Inked Botanicals 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (DSP). You can get four cards from one sheet of 6 x 6 DSP. You just need three pieces measuring 3 inches x 1 inch for each card. (Note: If you use DSP as a layer, you’ll also need another sheet. Or, you could use embossed card stock, similar to the card below.) Layer these pieces on a coordinating piece of card stock measuring 3 1/4 inches x 4 1/2 inches. Wrap a ribbon around this layer before attaching it to a piece of either card stock or DSP measuring 5 1/4 x 4. Then add this all to the card base.

Delightfully Eclectic Thank You Card

For the card above, I chose a flower design from the Delightfully Eclectic 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. The coordinating colors I used include Basic Black and Fresh Freesia.

Don’t you love how the DSP changes the whole look of the card? Imagine all of the great possibilities with Stampin’ Up!’s wide array of available patterned paper.

Regal Reindeer Christmas in July

I’m back with more Christmas in July inspiration with Stampin’ Up!’s Regal Reindeer Stamp Set and coordinating Reindeer Dies. Find these in Stampin’ Up!’s 2023-2024 Annual Catalog.

This card follows the same basic layout as the cards included in a past post. See them here. In fact, this layout is so versatile and works for any number of stamp sets, sentiments and Designer Series Paper. See another example here.

For this Christmas card, I use the standalone reindeer die instead of the Christmas trees.

Regal Reindeer Christmas Cards

Regal Reindeer Christmas Cards

Can you believe it’s already time for Christmas in July? The summer heat of Arizona has pushed me inside. I’m “hibernating” and crafting. No better time than to start on Christmas card creations.

In today’s post, I share three cards using Stampin’ Up!’s Regal Reindeer stamp set and coordinating Reindeer Dies. Find them in Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog.

REGAL REINDEER CLING STAMP SET (ENGLISH)

REINDEER DIES

I use the same layout for each card, but I change the color combination. Which of the colors do you like best? I used the smaller tree die from the set to die cut images from the gorgeous Soft Shimmer 12 x 12 Combo Package. The colors include: Berry Burst, Bubble Bath, Lost Lagoon, Night of Navy, and Pretty Peacock.
