Peekaboo Treat Bags for the Fourth
I love treat bags! So, my project showcases one of Stampin’ Up!’s Peekaboo Treat Bags. These bags come in packages of 10 for $6. Find them on page 140 of Stampin’ Up!’s 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. You receive five white and five Kraft bags. The little see-through window makes it super fun to add themed treats. I filled mine with red, white, and blue taffy.
I had to be a little creative when putting these bags together. Here’s a list of what I used:
Black and White Designs 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper (available in the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. Begin ordering from it July 1). I used the Blending Brushes to apply Night of Navy and Real Red ink to the DSP pieces.
Stars punched with the Starlit Punch (Annual Catalog) from the Real Red & White 6 x 6 Glimmer Paper (July-December 2022 Mini Catalog).
Sentiment from Peaceful Deer (Annual Catalog)
Double Oval Punch (Annual Catalog)
Real Red 3/8″ Ruffled Real Red Ribbon
These bags are super fun and super versatile. There are lots of ways to decorate. Fill them with everything from treats to gift cards.

Stampin’ Up!’s Season of Chic Bundle attracted my attention because it contains images and dies that can be used for all of the seasons. This makes it versatile–something I can use year round. It includes seashells for summer, leaves for fall, snowflakes for winter, and flowers for spring. Find it on pages 98 and 99 of Stampiin’ Up!’s 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.
The bundle includes the Season of Chic stamp set and the Chic Dies. The bundled price includes a 10 percent discount. And, the Texture Chic 12 x 12 Designer Series is a must-have item. I love the gold highlights in the sheets.
I grabbed this bundle from the shelf to create a birthday for a friend who loves the beach. The seashells images work perfectly as does the sentiment. I also added Petal Pink panel embossed with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder.
With just a little bit of extra time to play, I created the two additional cards below with different elements from the suite.
The card above features a flower image, stamped and die cut.
And, this final card uses the “swoosh” element. It reminds me of a similar image from the Work of Art stamp set. I loved using it for backgrounds and tried it here. The Designer Series Paper above comes from the Design a Daydream 12 x 12 package. (Earn it free as a hostess. Ask me how!)

Today, I feature a pocket card. During a recent virtual team meeting on Zoom, I gave everyone the measurements for this sample. They gathered their stamp set, ink, and Designer Series Paper, and we created together. This was my finished product.
It’s so cute! And it makes a perfect treat holder and gift card holder!

Isn’t Stampin’ Up!’s Sweetest Cherries just the cutest? The stamp set and punch combo make it an affordable purchase, as well as easy and versatile to use. Purchase them as a bundle and save 10 percent. Find them on page 19 of Stampin’ Up!’s 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.
Today, I paired the bundle with Stampin’ Up!’s Peekaboo Treat Bags. Find these on page 140 of Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. You receive 10 treat bags (five craft and five white) for $6.00. There are so many ways to dress these up. I’m just showing you one option. I added pieces of Designer Series Paper (pieces of Old Olive from the Regals 6 x 6 Paper Assortments). But you could stamp on them and add tags and die cuts.
I can see them work for special occasions such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. But they would also work well as gift card holders and most especially sweet treats. I found a variety of fun, cherry flavored candies to put in these after decorating.
Be sure to watch the video to learn a fun technique using clear embossing powder. This technique gives the cherry a lifelike shine.
