Maui Achievers July Blog Hop

Welcome to the Maui Achievers July Blog Hop!

Maui Achievers July Blog Hop

We’re a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who have achieved the Stampin’ Up! bonus of the Maui incentive trip. We celebrate this achievement by organizing a monthly hop which helps us to continue to inspire you creatively.

You may be starting here or have come from someone else’s blog – either way, there’s a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed – so if you’re looking for a demonstrator, these are top demonstrators in their country who would love to help you with your Stampin’ Up! shopping or if you’d like to join our Stampin’ Up! teams. Be sure to visit all of the blogs and leave a comment.

Today’s card features popular returning products and brand-new products in Stampin’ Up!’s 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.

Painted Poppies Congratulations Card

The products I used include:

Maui Achievers July Blog Hop

I punched Whisper White card stock with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch, stamped the poppy with Memento Black ink on each panel, and colored the flowers with Petal Pink and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends.

This combination of products makes a beautiful congratulations card perfect for a wedding or anniversary or other special event.

Peaceful Moments for All Occasions

Stampin’ Up!’s Peaceful Moments stamp set is perfect for all occasions. This ten-piece set includes sentiments for everything from sympathy, to birthday, to thank you, to congratulations, and friendship.

I know we don’t like to make sympathy cards, but it’s an important card to have on hand, and more importantly, to send.

It’s a Mega Suite

When combined with Stampin’ Up!’s Painted Poppies stamp set, your creative choices increase. These two stamp sets and their coordinating dies are part of a mega suite of products that provide the ingredients to create a variety of beautiful cards and git packaging.

The Peaceful Moments stamp set pairs with the Poppy Moments Dies, and the Painted Poppies stamp set coordinates with the Painted Labels Dies. When you purchase the stamp set with its coordinating die, you receive a 10 percent discount on the bundle. They can be found on pages 24-27 in Stampin’ Up!’s January-June 2020 Mini Catalog.

But the coordination doesn’t stop there. In fact, the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper steals the show. I think it’s the centerpiece of this suite (even though I didn’t use it on this card). The suite also features Whisper White Seam Binding, Peaceful Poppies Sequins, and the Peaceful Poppies elements.

About the Card

For this particular card (inspired by a host of others found online), I used a Basic Black card base and the Gray Granite sheet from the Neutrals 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper pack. I stamped the poppy image and the sentiment with Black Memento Ink. I colored the poppy with the Dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend and the leaves and stem with the Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend.

Another of my favorite products (I seem to have a lot of them!) are the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. That’s what gives me the cool, scallop, stitched rectangle that you see in the picture above. I find myself reaching more and more for this fun die cuts.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card featuring Peaceful Moments, a great set for all occasions, and Painted Poppies. If you don’t need a sympathy card, the Peaceful Moments set provides a host of options.
