Adorable Owls Twisted Easel Card
My handmade card features the Adorable Owls Stamp Set with the twisted easel fun fold. These cute little owls add a lot of fun to any card. (This stamp set can be earned free with a minimum $50 purchase.)
In addition to the Adorable Owls, I used the Country Floral Lane 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2023 Mini Catalog.
At first glance, this little card appears to open normally. But gently grab corner and it folds. Use the sentiment on the bottom piece as a “kickstand” to make the card stand up.
I started with a Sweet Sorbet card stock base measuring 8 1/2 x 4 1/4. On the long side, score at 4 1/4. Turn the left side of the card stock, and score diagonally from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. Fold the card in half. On the left side, bring the bottom left tip to the middle top, folding on the score line. Add a Basic White base measuring 4 x 4 and the Country Lane Designer Series Paper measuring 3 3/4 x 3 3/4. Decorate as you wish. Use the same measurements for the bottom piece. Stamp a sentiment and pop up on the bottom to use as a “kickstand.”
This video shows step-by-step visual instructions.
Here’s a sample of another one I created.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today. Please let me know if you have questions.

When I moved to Arizona more than 2 1/2 years ago, I had no idea how beautiful the cactus plants are here in the desert. It’s amazing to see all of the different varieties and their beautiful blooms. Now, I like to include cactus images for a variety of greeting cards, including Valentine’s Day.
Cactus Cuties Valentine Card
In addition to the Cactus Cuties Bundle, I also used the:
Sweet Conversations stamp set and the Sweet Heart Dies. (Buy these as a bundle and save 10 percent.)
Daffodil Delight 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper (free with a $50 order before tax and shipping during SaleABration
Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder
I stamped the cactus with Old Olive ink onto Old Olive card stock and fussy cut it. And, I stamped the pot with Real Red ink onto Real Red card stock and punched it with the coordinating punch.
See this blog post for additional Valentine’s Day card samples using the Sweet Talk Suite.

I just love treat packages! From boxes to bags and more! So, I purchased many packages of Stampin’ Up!’s Sweet Little Boxes available in the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. You receive 10 boxes for $10.
They are about the same size as the little boxes filled with conversation hearts. And you can decorate them any way you want. Fill them with anything you want — from chocolate to gift cards.
Today, I share four of the boxes I’ve decorated. Be sure to watch the video at the end of this post.
My first box draws on my love of cactus as a rather new Arizona resident. Stampin’ Up!’s new Cactus Cuties Bundle makes this really fun.
I also used the:
sentiment from the Sweet Talk stamp set;
heart from the Sweet Hearts Dies;
patterned paper from the Daffodil Afternoon 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper (available free with a minimum $50 purchase before tax and shipping during SaleABration). This piece measures 7 inches by 3 1/4 inches.
The above box uses the same supplies except for the Designer Series Paper. This comes from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper, available in Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog as a host selection.
The box above uses elements from the Sweet Talk Suite as well as the Highland Heather 1/2″ Grosgrain and the Supple Shimmer 12 x 12 Specialty Paper.
For the box above, I die cut a circle with Stampin’ Up!’s Layering Circles Dies and added a Window Sheet before I put the box together.
