Today, I’m sharing card samples created with the Dainty Flowers 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. It offers two each of six, double-sided designs. What’s more, this paper is absolutely gorgeous. I feel it’s a paper that doesn’t need a lot of images. Just let the designs do the work for you.
That’s what I’ve done with these handmade greeting cards. The card featured at the top of the post includes a sentiment (from the Shaded Summer stamp set) and some ribbon (Starry Sky 1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon). Doesn’t that paper just speak for itself?

Silly Goose Card Samples
As a demonstrator, I got the opportunity to preorder from the new mini catalog. I chose a number of fun things, but the Silly Goose stamp set caught my eye because I have a friend with the last name of Goos, and her birthday is this month. Today, I share a couple of cards I created for the set. Click here to see another post with other samples.

One item to note: The Silly Goose stamp set is available in both the clear photopolymer style and the rubber cling style for the same price. As a demonstrator, I was able to order early and bought the Silly Goose stamp set. My friend — with the last name of Goos — celebrates her birthday this month. I created a variety of cards to give as a gift. The sayings and images are just so cute!
This week, I’ll share samples of the cards I made for her.

In addition to the Silly Goose stamp set, I used the Day at the Farm 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper for both of these cards. It’s easy to add just a little bit of color to the images with Stampin’ Up!’s Stampin’ Blends and Stampin’ Writer Markers. These clean and simple cards make a fun gift.

Cutting & Scoring:
Mango Melody Cardstock — 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” and folded in half; 3” x 3”
Basic White Cardstock – 5 ¼” x 4”, 3” x 3”, 5 ½” x 1”
DSP – 4 ¾” x 2 ½” (Fresh Freesia flower design), 4” x 3” (square design shown above)
Instructions:
Die cut a scallop circle from the 3” x 3” Mango Melody Cardstock and a stitched circle from the Stylish Shapes (2 ½”) from the white 3” x 3” cardstock.
Stamp the owl with Memento ink on the white circle. Color with Stampin’ Blends and Mango Meldoy Stampin’ Write Marker.
Layer on Mango Melody scallop.
Punch the left side of the 5 ½” x 1” white cardstock with the Banners Pick a Punch.
Stamp the sentiment with Mango Melody ink on the left side of the banner.
Adhere the 4”x 3” DSP to the right-hand side of the Mango Melody card front.
Add the 4 ¾” x 2 ½” DSP piece on top of this. Then add the banner with the sentiment.
Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the owl layer on the right-hand side.
Glue 5 ¼” x 4” white cardstock to the middle of the card.
