What Else Will I Need?
In addition to the stamp set, I’ll be using the following Stampin’ Up! products:
If you’re looking for a way to make some quick and easy Christmas cards, Stampin’ Up!’s Christmas Everywhere Kit can help! This all-inclusive kit contains all of the supplies you need to create nine holiday cards — three each of three designs. The kit includes a stamp set, mini ink pad, a stamping block, decorated card bases and envelopes, die cut pieces, and Stampin’ Dimensionals. Make the kit as directed. Or create your own alternatives. This kit costs just $21 + tax and shipping.
Find the kits online as part of Stampin’ Up!’s Kit Collection. Click here to view all of the available kits.
I made one of each design (mostly) as directed by the kit. See the picture below.
Then, I started creating alternates with pieces from the kit and a few supplies from my stash. I cut up some of the card bases to use as Designer Series Paper. You can also cut the cut the kit card bases in half and mount them on card stock to double the kit output.
Here are some quick measurements for the pieces below (and the card at the top). Basic White measuring 5 1/4 x 2, 4 1/4 x 2, and 3 1/4 x 2 1/4. DSP measuring 5 x 1 3/4, 4 x 1 3/4, and 3 1/2 x 2 1/2.
I especially love a few of the extras. The cactus and the palm trees are so stinking cute. They are perfect for Arizona! Here is one of the alternatives I created with the blingy cactus. Isn’t it fun? (See another at the top of this post.)
Be sure to watch the video, as I show step-by-step directions for creating the first card. Get a peek at the contents of this fun, quick, and easy holiday kit.
