Welcome to Team Stamp It’s June Blog Hop! Thanks so much for joining us! This month, we feature cards and projects sporting a summer theme. Be sure to visit all of the participating blogs. Leave a comment on each, and you have a chance to win an Adventure Awaits Kit.

My contribution is a fun fold — twisted easel fun fold — using Stampin’ Up!’s Relaxing Waterside Bundle and the Scenic Coast 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. My summer memories include days spent at the lake in Minnesota, reading books on the dock, floating in the inner tube, riding on the pontoon, and just enjoying the beautiful, sunny days.

This card design is fun because the receiver can display the card on a shelf or a desk. Be sure to watch the video below to see how this card comes together.

Relaxing Waterside for Summer

Measurements and Details

  • Azure Afternoon cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 4 1/4
  • On the long side, score at 4 1/4. Turn the left side of the card stock, and score diagonally from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. Fold the card in half. On the left side, bring the bottom left tip to the middle top, folding on the score line.
  • Add a Basic White base measuring 4 x 4 and the Scenic Coast Designer Series Paper measuring 3 3/4 x 3 3/4.
  • Use the same measurements for the bottom piece.
  • Stamp the sentiment with Azure Afternoon ink on a die cut (Stitched Stocking dies) and pop up on the bottom to use as a “kickstand.”
  • Die cut vellum card stock with Spotlight on Nature Dies. Chair die cut with Azure Afternoon.

Here’s what the card looks like when it’s open.
