Tree Trimmings Dies Card Sample

Tree Trimmings Dies Card Samples

When you’re a crafter, there’s nothing more exciting than creating with brand-new product. During September of 2022, Stampin’ Up! is offering six, brand-new die cut sets that coordinate with current sets in both the Annual Catalog and the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. It’s called the Perfect Partners promotion, and it runs through September 30. See the graphic below for a look at the stamp sets and their new coordinating dies.

You’re able to purchase the stamp set separately, the die cuts alone, or both as a bundle (and save 10 percent).

Today, I’m sharing a card created with the Trimming the Tree Bundle. I love the dies. They cut the large tree, create two 3D-like trees, and give lots of options for decorating the tree with garland, stars, ribbons, baubles; there’s even a pot for the tree. And, the labels for the sentiments are unique.

This card also uses:

  • The Lights Aglow 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper
  • Gold Foil
  • Wintry 3D Embossing Folder (the evergreen pattern)
  • Large label from Seasonal Labels Dies
  • Coordinating colors include Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, and Very Vanilla
  • Red Rhinestone Jewels

Trimming the Tree Christmas Card

Trimming the Tree Christmas Card

Making your own handmade Christmas cards just got easier with Stampin’ Up!’s Trimming the Tree Bundle. The Trimming the Tree stamp set was released in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. And, just this month, Stampin’ Up! began offering coordinating dies. Buy the Trimming the Trees Stamp Set and Tree Trimmings Dies as a bundle and save 10 percent. This special ends September 30 or while supplies last.

The dies cut the large tree, create two 3D-like trees, and give lots of options for decorating the tree with garland, stars, ribbons, baubles; there’s even a pot for the tree. And, the labels for the sentiments are unique.

I used the Soft Succulent pattern from the Festive Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper to create the above card.

In addition to the Trimming the Tree Bundle, look for five other brand-new, limited-time bundled sets.

From pigs to yetis and flowers, these new bundles offer a lot of fun choices for paper crafting with rubber stamps, ink, and paper.

The card featured above uses the Trimming the Tree stamp set and the brand-new coordinating Tree Trimming Dies. Find this set on page 43 of Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog. I think you’ll love the dies for the sentiments and the framelits for the trees.

In addition to the stamp set and new dies, I used:

  • Lights Aglow 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper
  • Festive Foils 12 x 12 Specialty Paper
  • Evening Evergreen 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon
  • Stylish Shapes Dies
  • Layering Circles Dies
  • Champagne Rhinestone Jewels

This design is so versatile. Try it with other Designer Series Papers. The panels are cut at 3 3/4 inches x 1 5/8 inches.

Gingham Cottage for Fall

Gingham Cottage for Fall

Quick and easy is often the answer when it comes to card making. It helps to make a stack of the same card and have them on hand when the need arises. I think today’s card fits that criteria well.

To create:

  • stamp leaf from Season of Chic stamp set with So Saffron ink on a So Saffron card base
  • cut a piece of the So Saffron design from Stampin’ Up!’s Gingham Cottage 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper layered on an Early Espresso layer
  • sentiment from Biggest Wish
  • stamp on a leaf from the Leaf Label and Amber Gem Pack (You may have missed these in the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. The leaf comes in a package of 25 precut Kraft leaves and 50 gems.)
  • finish with a bow created with the Gold Shimmer Ribbon.

I also created a matching gift bag.
