Stampin’ Up! You’re Inspiring and Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper
Here’s a quick recap of how it went together:
- Ink the Hardwood background stamp with Daffodil Delight ink and stamp on the front of a Daffodil Delight card stock base. (Hint: I used the Stamparatus, and it worked perfectly.).
- Heat emboss the image from the You’re Inspiring stamp set in white on Shimmery White card stock.
- Sprinkle the yellow Brusho onto the heat-embossed image.
- Using an Aqua Painter, spread the Brusho onto the image and let it dry.
- Place the Foam Adhesive Strips close to the edge and all around the outside of the Shimmery White piece. Peel off the top covering of the adhesive.
- Adhere the oval from the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper.
- Wrap a piece of White Baker’s Twin around this stack and tie a bow.
- Stamp the “Happy Mother’s Day” sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings onto a scrap of Whisper White card stock with Memento Black Ink.
- Punch the sentiment out using the Classic Label Punch.
- Adhere to the front of the card using a small piece of Foam Adhesive Strip.
- Place the whole piece onto the Daffodil Delight base.
Just a quick note: The You’re Inspiring stamp set, the Hardwood background, the Brusho, and the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper are all retiring and won’t be available after June 3 (or before). If you want any of these products, be sure to order them soon before they’re gone.
Please let me know if you have questions. I’d be glad to help!

Stampin’ Up! Daisy Punch and Daisy Delight Stamp Set
Hello Stampers!
Punches help make projects easy! Once again, I pulled out Stampin’ Up!’s Daisy Punch and coordinating stamp set Daisy Delight to create this thank-you card.
Here’s how it goes together:
- Card base: Whisper White Thick
- Designer Series Paper: Happiness Blooms. Cut at 5 ¼ x 4 inches
- Top layer: Whisper White Thick cut at 5 x 3 ¾ inches
- Punch the Daisy from the Whisper White
- Using Night of Navy ink, stamp the sentiment
- Adhere the Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon
- Use dimensionals (I was very generous—using at least 10) to “pop” the piece up onto the Designer Series Paper.
- Adhere panel to white base.
- Cut a ½-inch circle from Pineapple Punch card stock and adhere to center of daisy
Super easy and super fun!

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Gala and Butterfly Duet Punch
Hello Stampers!
The Butterfly Duet Punch has been one of the most popular Stampin’ Up! punches of all time! It coordinates with the Butterfly Gala stamp set. Both of these can be found in the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog. The good news is that the punch will also be available in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. (You can order from that catalog beginning June 4.)
However, buy them now as a bundle and receive a 10 percent discount.
The color inspiration (Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, and Pool Party) for this card came from the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper. You can see the little strip of it that runs across the middle of the card.
I stamped each of the butterflies in each of the three inks and stamped them on their coordinating card sock. I then punched them out with the punch. The cool thing about the set is that the little butterfly and big butterfly are hooked together on the same stamp so it’s easy to punch.
The colors definitely say spring, and it’s finally here in Nebraska. I’ve made a lot of these cards to express my gratitude.

Stampin’ Up!’s Fable Friends Easter Trio
Hello Stampers!
I just love to get packages in the mail, especially when they’re from my talented team member Beth Doty. She loves to make treat packets and fill them with chocolate, and she even includes my husband.
Here’s the trio of goodies I received a couple of days ago. She’s paired Stampin’ Up!’s Fable Friends stamp set with the spring-like Gingham Gala 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.
Good news: The Fable Friends stamp set will be carried over and will be available in Stampin’ Up!’s new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog (you can order from it beginning June 4). The Gingham Gala 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper is still available, but it will be retiring soon. If you like this palette of pastels, order soon.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Stampin’ Up! Daisy Punch and Fable Friends Stamp Set
Hello Stampers!
As the day begins in Nebraska, the birds are chirping, and the trees are budding. It’s definitely spring, and we celebrate Easter this weekend.
I’m sharing a super cute card I CASEd (in case you haven’t heard this before, it means: Copy and Share Everything) from Fun with Stamping.
The bunny ears are created using Stampin’ Up!’s Daisy Punch. I punched the flowers in the colors that coordinate with the Gingham Gala 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove, Lemon Lime Twist and Highland Heather). I then used snips to cut the daisy in half and trimmed away the extra petals.
The sentiment comes from the Fable Friends stamp set, and you could easily replace “Happy Spring” with “Easter Blessings.”
Good news on two fronts: both the Daisy Punch and the Fable Friends stamp set will be available in Stampin’ Up!’s 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. However, the awesome Gingham Gala 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper will be retiring. So, if you love that, think about purchasing it sooner rather than later before it’s gone
Retiring Items
This is the time of year Stampin’ Up! releases the list of items that will be retiring to make way for new and fun products. With that said, some others need to go. Perhaps the best way for you to see this list is to go directly to my online store and peruse the list. Links are below. Just let me know if you have questions. Something to note: You might see a lot of stamp sets on the list. SU! is retiring the format of the stamp – wood and clear mount – and replacing them with the cling mount.
Retiring Stamps
Retiring Bundles
Retiring Everything Else
Thanks for stopping by today! Please let me know if you have questions, most especially about the retiring items. It can be very confusing, and I’d like to help!
