Stampin’ Up! #simplestamping
Hello Stampers!
When I invite someone new to stamp with me, I hear them say, “Oh, I can’t do that. I’m not crafty!”
To which I reply: “Are you breathing? If so, I can teach you how to use rubber stamps, ink, and paper to create a handmade card.” (I stole this from another demonstrator years ago.)
During the last year, I’ve had to opportunity to introduce a lot of people – both male and female – to the art of rubber stamping. I joined a networking organization, and my presentation involves a hands-on stamping opportunity.
This is one of the cards we created at a recent meeting. It really speaks to Stampin’ Up!’s challenge of #simplestamping. It’s just rubber stamps, ink, and paper. I used Stampin’ Up!’s note cards and envelopes, the retiring In Colors of Fresh Fig and Powder Pink as well as the Sheltering Tree and Birthday Cheer stamp sets. But it goes together quickly; it’s eye-catching; and it will bless someone’s day. What could be better than that?
I’d love to introduce you to the fun of creating with rubber stamps. Give me a call or shoot me an email, and let’s get a date on the calendar.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Stampin’ Up! Daisy Delight/#143669/$17
Hello Stampers!
April showers bring May flowers! That’s the old saying, right? So, it’s nearly time for getting those flowers started! And, those seeds need some cute packaging.
Stampin’ Up!’s Daisy Delight Bundle provides the perfect product to create this springtime “treat” holder.
I started with a piece of Pineapple Punch card stock measuring 6 inches x 3 ¾- inches. I scored it at 3 inches, folded it in half, and stapled the side together. I then adhered a piece of 2 ¾-inch by 3 ½-inch square of Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper to the front.
I stamped the daisy image twice in Pineapple Punch ink onto Pineapple Punch card stock and then punched it with the Daisy Punch. With a glue dot, I layered the daisies together to create a flower and popped it up on the front of the packet. I topped it off with a Gold Faceted Gem Rhinestone.
So easy to create and so cute to give!
