So Long to Lovely as a Tree

Stampin' Up! Lovely as a Tree

Stampin’ Up! Lovely as a Tree

Hello Stampers!

Did you know Stampin’ Up!’s Lovely as a Tree stamp set has been in the catalog since 2001. It’s been available longer than any other stamp set. But that longevity is coming to an end. When the new catalog debuts June 4, Lovely as a Tree, sadly, won’t be available for purchase. It is retiring! Be sure to put this on your wish list!

It is such a versatile stamp set that can be used for many occasions, including holidays. Here, I’ve used it as a birthday card, and could definitely be geared toward the men in our lives.

I’ve also used the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (I’m sorry, but this is sold out) and the sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings.

Thanks for stopping by today. To purchase the stamp set, look for the icons below. Click on any of them to be taken directly to my online store where you can shop 24/7.

Please let me know if you have questions about this card, the art of rubber stamping, or any other products.

Stampin’ Up! Tropical Chic and Tropical Escape

Hello Stampers!

My tropical escape continues with this fun card using Stampin’ Up!’s 6 x 6 Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper (hint: this paper is retiring, so stock up if you like it!) and the Tropical Chic Bundle. The sentiment comes from the Perennial Birthday set which will be around for the new catalog.

Feeling Tropical with Fabulous Flamingo

Stampin' Up! Flirty Flamingo

Stampin’ Up!’s Fabulous Flamingo

Hello Stampers!

I’m feeling a little tropical this week! And, at this time in my life, I’m quite a bit partial to flamingos. I created this card (inspired by Clare Daly) to showcase Stampin’ Up!’s Fabulous Flamingo set. Sad news: It’s retiring and won’t be available after June 3. So, if you’re a flamingo fanatic like me, order before it’s gone. The Tropical Escape 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper is also retiring, so add that to your list.

The Stamparatus makes stamping the flamingo so easy. I used Blushing Bride ink for the first image and Flirty Flamingo for the second image.

Scroll to the bottom of this post to view a list of the products I used to make this card. Click on any of the links to be taken directly to my online store to shop 24/7.

Remember: Through May 12, receive free shipping on orders of more than $25. Shop directly from my online store at: kimquade.stampinup.net and enter hostess code: XJCDGAVP. The free shipping offer is only available through me; it’s my surprise gift to you. When I return from my vacation, I will send you a check to cover your shipping costs.

Happy stamping!

Happy May Day!

Stampin' Up! May Baskets

Stampin’ Up! May Baskets

Hello Stampers!

Do any of you remember May Day? Did you bring treat baskets to the neighbors’ houses, ring the bell, and run? I’m not sure if anyone even does that anymore! I’ve made these for a class and have a few leftover for our neighbors. I’ll ring the bell, but I probably won’t run!

I used Stampin’ Up!’s Sweet Cups available in the Occasions Catalog. You get ten cups for $8.50. These will be retiring, so you’ll want to grab a package a two. They’re very fun to decorate for a variety of occasions. A couple of months ago, I made one for dog treats. See that post here.

I added a handle using a strip of Pineapple Punch card stock measuring 8 1/2 inches by 3/4 inches. I glued that strip to the inside of the cup using Tombow Glue. The Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper worked well for the May Day theme. I used the template provided by Stampin’ Up! I’d love to send one via email, if you’re interested. Then, just fill and deliver!

Thanks for stopping by today. Happy May Day! To see a list of products used, scroll to the bottom of this post. Each photo takes you directly to my online store where you can shop 24/7.
