I’m sharing some card samples using Stampin’ Up!’s Bloom & Grow stamp set!
Is anyone out there like me? You see a card or idea, run to the computer, purchase the supplies, and then don’t actually make anything. I have a few of those buys in my stash and decided to dust them off, take them out of the package, and use them.
The Bloom & Grow stamp set and its coordinating Budding Blooms Dies, featured on page 180 of Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog, was brand-new in the package this last weekend. Without even first consulting Pinterest, this is the design I created. I got so carried away, I made four different color versions: Mango Melody, Highland Heather, Rococo Rose, and Flirty Flamingo. Keep reading and scrolling to see all of the color samples. It’s hard to choose which one I like best. They’re all so pretty!

The Bloom and Grow Card Details
Here are few details about the Bloom & Grow card samples:
Each base measures 8 1/2 inches x 5 1/2 inches.
The next layer measures 5 1/4 inches by 4 inches. Emboss with the Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder.
Die cut vellum with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
Stamp sentiment directly onto the vellum.
Color floral images with coordinating colors of Stampin’ Blends.
Die cut floral image with coordinating die.
Top it off with a bit of linen thread tied in a bow.

Reach into your stash and play with a stamp set that hasn’t been inked. If you lack inspiration, head to Pinterest. In the search bar and type in the name of the stamp set. (For instance, if I wanted to view card samples using Bloom & Grow, I’d type in Stampin’ Up! Bloom & Grow.) Pinterest rewards with a host of cards created by other stampers. It’s OK to CASE (copy and share everything), but also feel free to make it your own if you don’t have the same supplies.

It’s that time of year again! We’re gearing up for Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, graduations, weddings, and more. And even though we’re experiencing a time where we may not be able to celebrate together, it’s a great opportunity to send someone your loving thoughts. We can still order gift cards online, and we can still send items via the US Postal Service. In fact, it’s a great time for happy mail of any kind.
The Project: Quick and Easy Gift Card Holder
I found this easy gift card holder while perusing Pinterest. In fact, I’m sure I made some a few years ago. But I’ve resurrected them and updated them with some new designs and Stampin’ Up! products.
The base is just an envelope. You heard me! Just an envelope measuring 5 3/4 inches by 4 3/8 inches. Stampin’ Up! sells both Whisper White and Very Vanilla. You receive 40 envelopes for $7.50. These are high-quality envelopes that fit standard cards.

Under My Umbrella
Even though Stampin’ Up!’s 2020 January-June Mini Catalog came out early January, there are still a lot of stamp sets and goodies to enjoy. Under My Umbrella Bundle, found on page 42, offers a fun stamp set and punch combination. This card and tutorial was created by Judy Garza.

Cutting & Scoring:
Pool Party – 11” x 4 ¼”, score at 5 ½”, 3 7/8” x 5 3/8”.
Calypso Coral – 4 ¼” x 3 1/8”.
Whisper White – 4 ¼” x 3”, 5 ¼” x 4” (inside)
Instructions:
Dry-emboss Pool Party panel and adhere to the card front.
Use the largest scallop rectangle die to die-cut smaller Whisper White cardstock.
Stamp and punch an umbrella from the DSP. TIP: It is easier to punch the umbrella then, using a self-made template, stamp the umbrella using the Stamparatus.
Position the umbrella on the scallop rectangle and lightly pencil-trace the top outline. (This is to aid with positioning the flower stamps. Be sure to pencil in the outside tips)
Use Early Espresso ink to stamp the two floral images a total of three times, making sure they do not extend past the outer ends of the umbrella. It is ok if some fall over the top line as they will be covered.
Stamp one each of the two floral images onto a scrap of Whisper White. Use Blends to color all the flowers and leaves, as shown. Then, fussy cut the extra images.
Glue the umbrella under the flowers (where the pencil marks are).
Stamp the sentiment in the upper left corner. Glue the umbrella handle, as shown.
Strategically dimensional one (or two) of the extra flower cluster images to cover up any gaps in stamped flowers.
Glue the focal panel to the Calypso Coral panel then dimensional the unit to the center of the card front.
Make a bow and add to the upper right corner with a glue dot.
Finally, add rhinestones to the larger flower centers.

My Easter Card
What do you do when you don’t have any Easter stamps? You peruse the Stampin’ Up! catalog and search for inspiration. I found my inspiration on page 109 of the Annual Catalog. It’s a watercolor, eclipse card. I thought this style worked well for the card I wanted to share. It features the the Hand-Lettered Prose dies.
Here’s a quick recap of how it goes together:
Cut Shimmery White card stock – 5/14″ x 4″.
Use Aquapainters to give a wash with Pear Pizzazz, Coastal Cabana, and Highland Heather.
“Splatter” ink onto the card front.
Die cut the word with the Hand-Lettered Prose Dies.
Layer the Shimmery White onto a Highland Heather base.
“Pop up” the letters using pieces of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Add the “Blessings” sentiment from the Merry Christmas to All stamp set on a watercolor piece with Highland Heather ink.
Die cut with the label from the Merry Christmas Dies.
Attach the sentiment with Glue Dots to the front of the card.
Color five Pearl Basic Jewels with Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends. Attach to front of card.

This time of year brings a lot of different events and holiday to celebrate: Easter, graduations, weddings, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day. Even though we may not be able to celebrate this events in person at this time, we can definitely send a card. I chose to feature a Mother’s Day card.
Maui Achievers Blog Hop: Mother’s Day Card
I actually made two cards for this hop. I can’t decide which one I like better. Please leave me a comment and let me know which card you prefer. I love, love, love the designs and color scheme of the Best Dressed 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper stack. And, the coordinating stamp set, Dressed to Impress offers the Mother’s Day sentiment and the pretty flowers. That’s where I started for the inspiration. I found a layout I like and went to work.
All of the Designer Series Paper comes from the same package. It’s fun to see the difference in the card by playing around with the different designs. I stamped the flowers in Stazon ink and colored them with a blender pen and the following colors: Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, and Blackberry Bliss.
