Country Birdhouse Box
Today, I’m sharing a fun supply box inspired by my friend and teammate, Gina. She demonstrated this box design at our team meeting. I just had to share the design with all of you. I love that you can store so many things in this handy box, such as cards, embellishments, adhesives, and more. And, you can make it with card stock.
Be sure to watch the video below to see how this box comes together. I use the 2024-2026 In Colors and Stampin’ Up!’s Country Birdhouse Bundle for my box. (Just a quick note: Stampin’ Up!’s stamp set and die bundles are on sale for an additional 10 percent off through June 30, 2024.)
You’ll need two sheets of matching card stock measuring 8 1/4 x 9 3/4. Follow the scoring and cutting directions below. You can also follow along with the video.
Below: Page 1 template
Below: Page 2 template
Join the two pages together with Tear n Tape as suggested below, using the strip on the right hand side of page 1. Add Tear n Tape where indicated on each side of the box. See below for side one.
Add Tear N Tape for the other side. See below for side two.
Feel free to decorate your box with any patterned paper and embellishments. Trusty Tools Gift Card Holder
For today’s project, I used the Trusty Tools stamp set and coordinating Trusty Tools Dies to create a gift card holder for a guy in your life. Just recently, I discovered a bag of empty, plastic chewing gum containers at the back of my craft room closet. These make the perfect receptacles for gift cards.
Here are a few measurements to help you get started:
Country Woods Designer Series Paper: 3 three pieces including 4 x 2, 4 x 3/4, and 4 x 2 1/2
Country Woods Designer Series Paper for the tag/sentiment measuring about 2 1/2 x 2 1/2
Tag border from Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set; sentiment from Trusty Tools stamped in Misty Moonlight, punched with Heartfelt Hexagon Punch
Tools from Trusty Tools Dies die cut in Silver Foil
Bakers Twine Combo Pack
I think it’s just a super fun way to present a gift card to the special guy in your life.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today! Please let me know if you have questions about this or any other paper crafting projects.
