Fragrant Forest Faux Step Card

Welcome to Team Stamp It’s July Blog Hop! Thanks so much for joining us. This month, we feature Christmas in July cards and projects. Be sure to visit each blog on the hope and leave a comment. You could have a chance to win the Birthday Sparkle all-inclusive kit from Stampin’ Up!’s Kit Collection.

Today, my card features Stampin’ Up!’s Fragrant Forest stamp set in conjunction with the faux step fun fold technique. I love the versatility of this large background stamp; There are so many ways to use it. I’ve created both sympathy and birthday cards with this stamp. Now, I show how it works well as a holiday stamp, too.

Spotlight on Nature Thank You

Spotlight on Nature

Tomorrow, May 1, is the day we’ve been waiting for! Stampin’ Up!’s 2024-2025 Annual Catalog is live. You can purchase the new 2024-2026 In Colors as well as a brand-new offering of rubber stamps, ink, paper, dies, punches, embellishments, and more. There’s so much to love. I can’t wait to show off the new offerings in the coming months.

Spotlight on Nature Thank You

In today’s post, I feature a gorgeous thank you card using the brand-new Spotlight on Nature Bundle. Find it on page 69 of the new Annual Catalog.

I love tulips. Although, I don’t see many here in Arizona, I can admire them on paper. In addition, I “spotlight” three of the five brand-new In Colors: Petunia Pop, Peach Pie, and Pretty in Pink. And the dies offer some unique circle designs.

Here are a few details about this card:

  • Petunia Pop card stock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Basic Beige (a brand-new neutral color) card stock panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4
  • A piece of Petunia Pop Designer Series Paper (from the 2024-2026 In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper Collection) measuring 3/4 x 5 1/4
  • 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer 12 x 12 Glimmer Paper (Petunia Pop) measuring 1/4 x 4 1/4
  • Basic White Card Stock die cut with Spotlight on Nature Dies
  • Tulip stamped with Memento Ink and colored with Petunia Pop and Olive Olive Stampin’ Blends
  • 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems
  • Petunia Pop 3/8-inch Bordered Ribbon

Here are two other samples using Pretty in Pink and Peach Pie. Which one is your favorite?
