There’s a lot to love about the Kits Collection by Stampin’ Up!. Not only do the kits deliver a quick and easy all-inclusive project in a box, you have a stamp set and ink spot to help you create other projects. (Remember: now through June 30, the kits in the collection are on sale. Buy one, get one at half off. Click here to see the selection and shop.)
I have ordered several of the kits and decided to try out the Kindness Cards Kit. It contains the ingredients to create eight coaster cards—plus a cute travel-sized tin to hold it all. Each card is a story of kindness you can create and share. I plan to bring these cards with me on my upcoming trip to Colorado and Nebraska to visit team members.
But I’m also excited to show you the alternate above created with one of the stamps from the set. Using the Design a Daydream 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper, this pocket card is perfect for gift cards, small treats, and notes. Earn this as a hostess reward. It’s featured on page 170 of Stampin’ Up!’s 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.
Be sure watch this Facebook Live replay to see how I created this alternate pocket card.

Although I’m just getting started playing with this bundle, I’m happy with this cute birthday card and coordinating treat packet. I selected the new 2022-2024 In Colors: Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide, and Parakeet Party. (Starry Sky and Orchid Oasis round out this year’s new In Colors.)
I love that Stampin’ Up! offers a bunch of coordinating products to make creating easy and fun. Here are a few of the products I used to make the handmade card:
2022-2024 In Color cad stock
6 x 6 2022-2024 In Color Designer Series Paper Assortments
2022-2024 In Color 6 x 6 Glimmer Paper
Baker’s Twine Pack
Tahitian Tide ink
Stitched Rectangles Dies
Blending Brush
And, I had to include a cute treat packet made with some of the same supplies. Isn’t this super cute? I searched the grocery stores to find cherry flavored foods. The Mini Pocket Envelopes Dies make creating these a snap. Use a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ inch piece of patterned party and cut with the die in the Stampini’ Cut & Emboss. Fold, apply some tear and tape, and it’s ready to decorate. These little holders are perfect for treats and gift cards. See this blog post for other examples using this die.

Your Biggest Fan Father’s Day
I’m going to miss the Hey Sports Fan Suite from Stampin’ Up!’s January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. It officially retires June 30, but elements of the suite will only be available while supplies last. (Hint: So, if you like any of the components, get them before they’re gone.) The Designer Series Paper sports some fantastic designs. I’ve ordered an extra package to have on hand for those masculine greetings cards.
In addition to the baseball-themed products in this suite collection, I used a brand-new item from Stampin’ Up!’s 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. I love the Mini Pocket Envelope Dies to create a quick and easy gift card holder. Use it separately, or attach it to a card front like I did for this card. (See this post for additional samples using the Mini Pocket Envelope Die.)
All of the elements from the suite work together to make card making easy! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. I hope you’re inspired to make your own creations with the Hey Sports Fan Suite and the Mini Envelope Pocket Dies.
Look for more Father’s Day inspiration from the other talented stampers participating in the blog hop. Visit them all and leave a comment for a chance to win the Brewed for You Bundle.

I was scrolling Pinterest one day. That’s all i need to say, right? But a card by Colleen Magness caught my eye. She shared a video demonstrating the die stenciling technique. So fun! I had to try it for myself. In case, you haven’t seen it, I’m sharing my interpretation of her technique.
Blessings of Home Die Stenciling Technique
This is how it works:
Choose a stamp set with a die. Flower sets generally work well. Here, I use Blessings of Home. (Find it on page 75 of Stampin’ Up!’s 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. ) The Nature’s Prints stamp set also works well. See a sample of that card below.
Die cut the flower image. It helps to use Thick Basic White card stock.
Stamp the flower image on your card front. (I used a die cut from the new Deckled Rectangle Dies.)
Lay the stencil over the top of the flower.
With a blending brush, apply ink to the image within the stencil portion. I used the same color ink for both. (Blackberry Bliss)
Remove the stencil.
Cool technique, right?
You can then add your own Designer Series Paper, sentiment, and embellishments. Here, I added used a piece of patterned paper from the Design a Daydream 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper (have a party and you could earn this free), a sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set, White Seam Binding, and Pearl Basic Jewels colored with Black Berry Bliss Stampin’ Blends.
See the card below for a card that uses a Pool Party color scheme in conjunction with the die stenciling technique.

Each new Stampin’ Up! catalog presents opportunities to play with new stamp sets, Designer Series Paper, embellishments, and more. The Uniquely Artistic stamp set is one of those new products. Find it on page 114 of the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. I received it with my recent registration for a Stampin’ Up! virtual event. It’s one of my favorite things about being a demonstrator: receiving sneak peeks of new products.
When I received the set, I wasn’t quite sure where to start with a card design. So, I turned to the Annual Catalog and used the the samples within for inspiration.
I CASEd the above card from the catalog sample on page 115. It features the colors of Daffodil Delight and Mint Macaron. I embossed the background piece with the Gingham Embossing folder.
Uniquely Artistic Card Samples
The two cards below use heat embossing as the main technique.
The card above uses a sentiment from the Lovely You stamp set punched with the Double Oval Punch. I grabbed the gorgeous piece of Designer Series Paper from the Abstract Beauty 6 x 6 package. (If you love this Designer Series Paper, order it now. It’s going to retire!)
This beautiful card uses products from the Love & Happiness Bundle from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. Hint: This, too, is retiring, so grab it before it’s gone.
See this blog post for more card samples using this brand-new set
