Rooted in Nature #simplestamping

Are you a beginning stamper with just a few supplies? Do you love the art and craft of rubber stamping but just don’t have a lot of time? Are you short of space and can only store limited stamps? Do you need a quick and easy, clean and simple card?

What is #simplestamping?

Stampin’ Up!’s #simplestamping is for you! It focuses on using just rubber stamps, ink, and paper to create quick, easy, and cute handmade greeting cards.

Each month, Stampin’ Up! issues demonstrators a challenge. This month: Employ the #simplestamping technique with your favorite retiring product in a thank-you card format.

I have a lot of favorites retiring from Stampin’ Up’s 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. (A new catalog debuts May 4. To make room for new goodies, some things have to go.) But one I’ve used a lot is Rooted in Nature. It includes  a host of tree and nature images and features versatile sentiments.

(To browse the list of retiring items and those discounted, click here and then click on Specials and Last Chance Product List.)

This stamp set is slated to retire; it’s not available after May 3 (or while supplies last). Enjoy these card samples. They go together quickly, especially when using Stampin’ Up!’s Very Vanilla Notecards and Envelopes. Already cut and scored, you receive 20 cards and envelopes for $7. Just add stamps, ink, and paper.

For these cards, I used:

  • Pieces from the In Good Taste 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. I love the wood grain designs featured on some of the sheets.
  • Early Espresso ink and card stock and Garden Green ink and card stock
  • Very Vanilla Notecards and Envelopes

With this technique, you can make a set of cards quickly and easily. Send them out or package them up and give them as gifts.

Be sure to view the video below (a Facebook live replay) to see how these cards go together.

To see a more intricate card using this stamp set and the coordinating Nature’s Root Dies, see this post.

Thanks for stopping by today. Please let me know if I can help you on your paper crafting journey.
