Did you know Stampin’ Up! is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year? That’s quite an anniversary to recognize. The company was started by Shelli Gardner and her sister in their home with the goal of helping women and sharing the love of creativity. Stampin’ Up! now exists in eleven countries around the world.
To celebrate, Stampin’ Up! staff plan to visit 35 demonstrator events in its markets throughout the world. I completed an application and Stampin’ Up! attended the team meeting of Kim’s Paper Krafters on Saturday, April 15, in Mesa, Arizona. We were so excited to be chosen. Kevin Lunt visited, spoke, answered questions, and gave us a small gift. (Do you love our T-shirts? Our team member Gina made all of these for us.)
As part of the commemoration, Kevin chose one swap card to take back to Utah for display. Here is our stamper, Sandy Mahar, with Kevin below. She created a light up card with the Light the Way Bundle.
Today, I’m sharing the other swap cards that were presented. Enjoy these handmade cards created by some talented demonstrators. Be sure to watch the video below to get another look at these cards.

Doesn’t this look like fun? Although all of our team meetings don’t include visits from Stampin’ Up! home office staff, they are a lot of fun. They include a lot of stamping, learning, chatting, and making new friends. If you’re not local, we have an active team Facebook group where we host challenges, share card ideas, and meet virtually each month.
We’d love to have you join us. With Stampin’ Up!’s Starter Kit receive $125 worth of any product you choose for just $99 + tax (and it’s all shipped free). Then, begin earning a discount on your future purchases. There’s no need to host parties or workshops, unless you want to. I know you’ll want to share your creations with your friends. Thank you for visiting my blog today. Please let me know how I can help you in your paper crafting journey.

In today’s post, I play with a fun fold — the Envelope Fold — with a variety of things: retiring, carry over, and new. My team member, Theresa Huffman, introduced our team (Kim’s Paper Krafters) to the fold during one of our virtual team meetings for our mystery stamping project.
Sun Prints Envelope Fun Fold
The card featured at the top uses the retiring Sun Prints 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. (You need one piece that measures 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches scored on the diagonal.) Be sure to watch the video below for step-by-step instructions for creating the Envelope Fun Fold handmade card. All other items will carry over into the brand-new catalog, including:
Basic White card stock measuring 8 x 51/4, scored at 4
One half of the white embossed with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder
Night of Navy card stock measuring 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
Basic White circle die cut with Stylish Shapes Dies
Thank You sentiment from Good Feelings Stamp Set, stamped in Night of Navy
Night of Navy 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon (18 inches)
Rhinestone Basic Jewels colored with Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends
The above photo shows what the card looks like inside.
I created the card above during the mystery stamping. It uses the retiring Petal Park 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper and a sentiment from the Framed Florets stamp set. The Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder carries over into the new catalog.
Now it gets exciting. The card above uses some brand-new products available beginning May 2 in Stampin’ Up!’s 2023-2024 Annual Catalog, including: Fresh as a Daisy 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper, Circle Celebrations Bundle, and the new In Colors of Moody Mauve and Wild Wheat.
And, this last card is created with the brand-new Beautiful Balloons Bundle and the Bright & Beautiful 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.
