Everyday Details Flip Front Fun Fold

Everyday Details Flip Front Fun Fold

There’s a lot going on with today’s card. It’s a fun fold, specifically the Flip Front Fun Fold. And, it uses product you can earn free during Stampin’ Up!’s SaleABration promotion: the Light & Airy Designer Series Paper (DSP). In addition, I paired it with the Everyday Details Bundle (available in Stampin’ UP!’s January-April 2024 Mini Catalog). I love how the bird nest image from the Everyday Details stamp set coordinates with the bird images from the Light & Airy DSP.

The Everyday Details Dies enticed me to purchase the bundle. I love the dotted borders on the dies.

  2. Get $125 worth of product PLUS an additional $30 worth of product of your choice when you join for $99 + tax. Shipping is included.

I have the Glass Mat Studio and absolutely love it. Here are some things to know about it.

Top Ten Reasons You Need the Glass Mat Studio

  1. The tempered glass provides a solid stamping surface that works for both photopolymer and cling stamps.
  2. Grid lines make it easy to line up stamps for placing on the blocks.
  3. Imprinted grid lines help you align your card stock.
  4. Use the glass surface for techniques such as blending, water coloring, and more. Use the included shammy for easy clean up.
  5. There’s space to write notes off on the side.
  6.  Non-slip surface helps hold the die cut machine in place while using (both large and small machine).
  7. It’s heat resistant for heat embossing.
  8. Holds masks in place with washi tape or Post It Notes.
  9. Larger background stamps stay in place and works great for inking and stamping with paper on top.
  10.  Brayer works well on this hard glass surface.
  11. Ideal for the reflection stamping technique.
  12. Perfect for stamping off.
  13. Adhesives can be cleaned off easily with shammy.

After joining, you receive a minimum discount of 20 percent on your future purchases as long as you stay active. You’re not required to host parties, workshops, or classes. I know you’ll be so excited about the product you’ll want to share with your friends.

Countryside Corners Birthday Card

Countryside Corners Birthday Card

I have a love, love relationship with Designer Series Paper. I love patterned paper, and I buy patterned paper. Then, I have to use the paper! A never-ending cycle. But it’s a fun problem to have!

With the launch of Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2024 Mini Catalog and SaleABration earlier this month, there’s a lot of new packages of Designer Series Paper with which to create. And, it’s all so pretty!

In today’s post, I share a super easy design that showcases larger pieces of the Designer Series Papers. I CASEd this design from page 63 of Stampin’ Up!’s 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. (As an aside, CASE means Copy and Share Everything. In the stamping and creative world, we pride ourselves on sharing with others to offer inspiration.) Then, I “stepped” the card up, adding a few extra elements.

Once I got started creating these DIY birthday cards, I couldn’t stop experimenting with all of the new papers. Be sure to watch the video below to see all of the samples.

Countryside Corners Birthday Card

Here are just a few quick details.

  • Balmy Blue card stock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Balmy Blue card stock layer measuring 5 1/4 x 4, embossed with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder
  • Countryside Corners Dies (fourth from largest)
  • Lighter Than Air Designer Series Paper — three coordinating designs — 3 3/4 x 2 1/4
  • Birthday sentiment from Go To Greetings
  • Sentiment stamped with Azure Afternoon on a white die cut from Countryside Corners Dies
  • Balmy Blue Bakers Twine
  • Azure Afternoon gems from the Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots

How to Video

From my craft room in Mesa, Arizona, where I’m a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I give step-by-step directions for creating this card, and I show a set of other samples using a variety of Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Papers.

You can earn a few of the papers I showed today free during SaleABration. There’s just a month left to earn free paper crafting products. With qualifying purchases of $50 and $100 (before tax and shipping), select from among exclusive stamp sets, Designer Series Paper, ribbon, gems, an embossing folder, and a coordinating die cut.
