2026-2028 In Colors with Balloon Festoon

2026-2028 In Colors with Balloon Festoon

Raise your hand if you like new colors? Do you look forward to the release of Stampin’ Up!’s new In Colors each year? In just a week, you’ll be able to get your hands on these new colors in a variety of coordinating products.

Our new colors are: Barely Blush, Crisp Cantaloupe, Golden Glow, Hydrangea Hue, and Peaceful Pine.

2026-2028 In Colors

In addition to the new colors, you’ll notice a difference in the pads. No longer difficult to open, they are magnetic — the lids come off easily and close easily. Be sure to watch the video below for a demonstration.

Some of the additional 2026-2028 In Color products include: ink refills, 8 1/2 x 11 Cardstock, 12 x 12 Two-Tone Cardstock, 12 x 12 Pearlized Cardstock, In Color Dots, In Color Butterflies, In Color 12 x 12 Painted Patterns Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs, 3/8-inch Bordered Ribbon, and shimmer pens (coming soon).

For today’s card, I combined the colors in a very quick and easy card. The video also shows samples in all of the new 2026-2028 In Colors. (If you don’t want to wait until May 5, consider purchasing Stampin’ Up!’s Starter Kit; you can add these new items to you kit. Ask me for details. Or click here to join.)

Lovely Arrangements Clean & Simple

 Lovely Arrangements Clean & Simple

Each month, Stampin’ Up! offers a creative challenge (#CreativeChallengeSU). This month’s challenge calls for creators to make a clean & simple card. From their Facebook live, I also learned how to create a clean & simple card. Click here to see another similar example.

Here are the three principles the designers discussed. A clean and simple card includes:

  • A lot of negative space
  • Cluster element
  • Texture

I tried to do that with today’s card. What do you think? Did I fill all the requirements?

Measurements and Details

  • Petunia Pop cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Petunia Pop cardstock panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4, embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder
  • Fresh Freesia cardstock, die cut with Stylish Shapes circle
  • Petunia Pop cardstock. Heat emboss flowers from Stampin’ Up!’s Lovely Arrangements stamp set with Wow! Basics Embossing Powders (white). Die cut with the coordinating Lovely Arrangements Dies. Purchase the stamp set and dies as a bundle and save 10 percent.
  • Sentiment (Lovely Arrangements stamp set) stamped with Petunia Pop ink on Fresh Freesia cardstock die cut with Lovely Arrangements die.
  • White Baker’s Twine
  • Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots

Retiring In Colors

One quick note about Petunia Pop, the color featured on today’s card. It’s one of five 2024-2026 In Colors. It retires soon. If you love this color, be sure to buy the card stock, stamp pads, ink refills, and Stampin’ Blends before they sell out.

Please let me know if you have questions about today’s featured card or the retiring In Colors and other products.
