Beautiful Gallery Patterned Paper

Beautiful Gallery Patterned Paper

With the launch of Stampin’ Up!’s brand-new 2025-2026 Annual Catalog, you’ll find a host of great, exclusive products. Look for everything from stamp sets, to coordinating dies, ribbons, gems, and more. As usual, the Designer Series Papers rate among the must-haves.

This new catalog includes some popular patterns from last year, as well as some novel designs for this year’s crafting. In today’s post, I share two cards using the Beautiful Gallery 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. With moody landscapes, floral sketches, and more, you’ll love this paper’s eclectic collection of dramatic designs and artistic details. Layer the papers in a scrapbook spread or feature your favorites on a card or tag.

The package includes 48 sheets: 4 each of 12 double-sided designs and sells for $12.50. These designs can definitely stand on their own or be used as accompaniments.

Measurements and Details

  • Secret Sea card stock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Cloud Cover card stock panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4
  • Three pieces of Beautiful Gallery 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper each measuring 1 1/8 x 5
  • Sentiment from Beautiful Motifs stamp set heat embossed with white
  • Die cut from Stylish Shapes Dies
  • Linen Thread
  • Secret Sea In Color Flat Pearls

Here’s another sample. This card uses a 5 1/4 x 4 sheet of the Designer Series Paper die with a portion die cut with the Textured Notes Dies and popped up with dimensionals in the middle.

I’ve barely scratched the surface with the creating. You’ll definitely see more samples in the future.

In this blog post, with a coordinating video, I share a handful of samples using the Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection.

I see so many stamps, papers, dies, and embellishments I want to craft with. Today, I start with the Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection.

Stampin' Up!'s Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection

This suite includes two stamp sets, two coordinating die sets, an embossing folder, Designer Series Paper, ribbon, and embellishments. Purchase it all with one ordering number (#165217) or pick and choose the items that speak to you. (See the supply list at the end of this post.)

All of the elements have been keeping me busy creating. I see so many possibilities. Be sure to watch the video below to view a sampling of the cards I have created so far.

Here’s another sample using one of the partial die cuts from the Gallery Blooms Dies.

Beautiful Gallery Card Samples

For this next card, I stamped the flower image with Memento ink, colored with Stampin’ Blends, die cut, and adhered to the card. I used the frame die to create the frame of Bubble Bath and Basic Black and embossed it with the Damask Designs Embossing Folder.

And, here’s one more! I stamped the flower with Secret Sea ink (one of the new In Colors) directly onto a piece of the Beautiful Gallery 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. Added lots of die cut pieces using the Textured Notes Dies.

I hope you’ve enjoyed these samples. Like I said above, this collection lends itself to so many possibilities.

Ink Spot Background Technique

Ink Spot Background Technique

Have you seen the Stampin’ Spots? The mini ink pads that come in the Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin kits and the Kits Collection? Be sure to keep them and use them for other projects.

Though small in size, they lend themselves to a variety of techniques. Today, I showcase a handmade greeting card where I used the spots to create a fun background.

Measurements and Details

  • Coastal Cabana card stock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Basic White card stock panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4
  • Randomly stamp Basic White card stock panel with different colors of Stampin’ Spots. I used Daffodil Delight, Basic Grey, and Coastal Cabana.
  • Heat emboss the sentiments from Simply Said and add to card front.
  • Add Neutral Matte Dots.

Click here to see a blog post and video for another technique using the Stampin’ Spots.

In the new 2025-2026 Annual Catalog (which debuts May 6, 2025), the Classic Stampin’ Spots assortment comes with two options:

Assortment 1 includes Real Red, Petal Pink, Garden Green, Cloud Cover, and Early Espresso.

Assort 2 includes Melon Mambo, Darling Duckling, Granny Apple Green, Fresh Freesia, and Basic Grey.

You may also purchase a set of uninked spots (six pads for $10) to create your own mini pad. Just fill with any of Stampin’ Up!’s refills and you’re good to go. Choose from any of Stampin’ Up!’s fifty ink colors.

A couple of tips regarding using the Stampin’ Spots:

  1. Wrap a rubber band around the little container. This keeps the lid from falling off and drying out the pad.
  2. Store the spots upside down to keep the ink toward the top of the pad.

Ink Spot Birthday Card

Ink Spot Birthday Card

Did you know Stampin’ Up! offers two sizes of ink pads? The full-size Classic Stampin’ Pad is perhaps the most common. Stampin’ Up! sells these pads in about 50 different colors. The second option includes the Stampin’ Spots. Find these in Paper Pumpkin kits as well as select kits from the Kits Collection.

In today’s post, I share two cards I created using the Classic Stampin’ Spots. The first card features the large Simple Birthday sentiment. The second card showcases the Thanking You Photopolymer Stamp set. Be sure to watch the video below to see how this technique works.

Measurements and Details (Birthday)

  • Gorgeous Grape card stock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Gorgeous Grape card stock panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4, embossed with the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder
  • Basic White panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4, die cut with the Textured Notes Dies
  • With the stamp facing up on your craft table, apply ink from the spots directly onto the stamp. Start with the lighter color first. Then add your second color. Stamp on Basic White Card Stock panel. I used Gorgeous Grape and Flirty Flamingo.
  • Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the birthday sentiment.
  • Add coordinating gems: Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots

Here’s a thank you card using the same technique. This card uses Daffodil Delight and Coastal Cabana ink spots. Check out the cute background: The Pattern of Friendship Die.

Memories & More Mother’s Day

Welcome to Team Stamp It’s April Blog Hop! Thanks so much for joining us! This month, we share handmade greeting cards and projects that focus on Mother’s Day. Be sure to visit all of the blogs on the hop to gain a host of paper crafting inspiration. Leave a comment on each. You have a chance to win the Birthday Sparkle Kit.

Memories & More Mother's Day

Do you ever need a quick card like yesterday? You need the easy button! For me, that’s Stampin’ Up!’s Memories & More Card Packs. For today’s Mother’s Day card, I use the Mixed Media Florals Memories & More Card Pack with just a few add ons. The card pack includes 50 double-sided printed cards for quick card fronts and pocket scrapbooks plus 4 sheets of stickers to embellish your projects.

The cards and the stickers allow you to create a variety of cards — everything from birthday to thank you to thinking of you and even this Mother’s Day card with the “You’re Amazing” sticker.

Measurements and Details

  • From the stack of cards, choose the card with the grid in the middle surrounded by Shy Shamrock stripes. With your paper trimmer, cut this piece to 5 1/4 x 4.
  • Adhere to a Shy Shamrock card stock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Select the larger tulip image from the sticker sheet and place on card front, as shown in the photos.
  • Find the “You’re Amazing” sticker sentiment, and layer it on the card.
  • Include a couple of flower stickers and a ladybug.
  • Tie a bow with 8 inches of the Shy Shamrock 3/8-inch Bordered Ribbon and place on card front with a Glue Dot.
  • Place a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Basic White card stock to the inside of the card. Write a nice message!

The sentiments and images in the pack work well for quick and easy cards that you’re proud to send out.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today. I hope you enjoyed this “easy button” project.

Need more inspiration? Look for the list near the end of this post. Leave a comment on each for a chance to win the Birthday Sparkle Kit.

Congratulations to last month’s winner: Michele Deschenes
