Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical Bundle
Flamingos for My Birthday!
I’ve been celebrating my birthday for a couple of weeks now! I received so many fun cards in the mail. This card came from friend and teammate Ginger Borneman. She’s all too familiar with my love of flamingos so she used them for my birthday card.
When I first got a look at Stampin’ Up!’s Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper, I knew I was going to purchase more than just one package. (I’m going to have to do some trading to get extra sheets of the pages with the flamingo design!) This awesome paper can be found in the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog on pages 38-40.

It’s a Little Ladybug Birthday! I celebrated a birthday last week, and I’ve been so fortunate to have received a mailbox full of cards (and they’re still arriving)! Many of the cards have come from my many stamping friends. I can’t wait to open the envelope and see what they’ve created.

Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely and Heartfelt
This Forever Lovely Valentine card combines elements from two of Stampin’ Up!’s stamp sets–Forever Lovely and Heartfelt–that are perfect for celebrating this special day, which is just two weeks away.
This card comes together pretty quickly. It starts with a Very Vanilla Thick Card Stock base, followed with a Cherry Cobbler layer, and another Very Vanilla layer on which I stamped the hearts from the Forever Lovely set. On a separate Very Vanilla scrap, I stamped the heart from the Heartfelt set and then punched it out with the Heart Punch. I used the Heart Scallop Punch with Cherry Cobbler card stock. I layered the two hearts and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the hearts onto the card.
Forever Lovely can be found on page 81 of the Annual Catalog and Heartfelt and its coordinating punches can be found on page 10 in the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog.

Music from the Heart, a brand-new Stampin’ Up! stamp set in the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog, is perfect for any music lovers in the your life, and it also makes a great Valentine card. The set was designed by demonstrator Dawn Olchefske, who is a Stampin’ Up! Million Dollar Achiever. Look below for instructions on creating this fun card. There’s some heat embossing involved, and that’s always a fun technique for beautiful cards. At the very end of the post, I’ve included a list of supplies. - OTHER –Dimensionals (104430), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Detailed Bee Dies (151526), Paper Trimmer (152392), Heat Tool (129053), Fine Tip Glue Pen (138309), Stamparatus (146276), Ruler or straight edge
Cutting & Scoring:
- Whisper White – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score and fold at 4 ¼”
- Whisper White- 4” x 5 ¼”
- Real Red Scraps – 2 ¾” x 4 ¼” (for hearts)
Instructions:
- Using a ruler or straight edge, draw 5 lines diagonally across the 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Whisper White using the Black Stampin’ Write marker. Lines are approximately ½” apart.
- Stamp the Treble Clef, notes and greeting using versamark, add the Shimmer Black embossing powder and heat set
- Die cut the small hearts from the Detailed Bee dies in Real Red. Note: The smaller hearts were used on the notes, and one of the larger ones by the greeting. Attach using glue.
- Attach project to the card base using dimensionals.
- Create shine/dimension on the hearts by carefully using the Fine Tip Glue pen on them, let dry.
