Forever Florals Birthday Card

This last week, I held in-person classes in my craft space in Mesa, Arizona. I primarily focused on the Forever Florals Bundle. Although I often offer additional sentiments and techniques I feel my attendees will appreciate.

In addition to the bundle, I showcase Stampin’ Up!’s Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper. This card uses three different designs from this paper pack. This card demonstrates how to “stretch” the die by cutting it in half before adding it to the card front.

Measurements and Details

  • Secret Sea cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper (wood grain pattern) measuring 5 1/4 x 4
  • Secret Sea Two-Tone cardstock panel measuring 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 (darker side of the two-tone cardstock)
  • Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper (Bubble Bath pattern) measuring 4 1/2 x 3 1/4
  • Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper (Strawberry Slush pattern) die cut with floral image. Cut in half and placed on card front.
  • Bubble Bath Two-Tone cardstock label.
  • Sentiment (Balloon Festoon Photopolymer Stamp Set) stamped in Secret Sea ink
  • Bubble Bath 1/8-inch Faux Linen Ribbon
  • Rhinestone Basic Jewels

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today. I hope you enjoy this project. Please let me know if you have questions about this card or any other stamping project.

My Mother’s Day card today features Stampin’ Up!’s Forever Florals Bundle. I know my mom loved flowers, planting beds in the spring to enjoy all summer long.

Forever Florals Bundle

I did grab the sentiment “You are so lovely” from Stampin’ Up’s Lovely Arrangements Photopolymer Stamp Set.

Card Measurements and Details

  • Thick Basic White Cardstock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
  • Basic White Cardstock panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4, die cut with large floral image
  • Stamped flowers in Lemon Lime Twist, Bubble Bath, Balmy Blue, and Lemon Lolly
  • Sentiment (Lovely Arrangements) stamped in Balmy Blue on Basic White label (Lovely Arrangements)
  • Rhinestone Basic Jewels

It’s so simple, but it’s so pretty! I love the subtle, pastel colors I chose for this card. You could use any combination of colors for the flowers to suit a mom’s likes.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today! I hope you enjoyed this project.
