At each in-person class, I love to give each participant a fun party favor or treat packet. I created this heart-shaped packet and want to share it with you. It’s so quick, easy, and super cute.
All the different size hearts offer so many possibilities.
See below for a look at a few of the finished treats.
Measurements and Details
Cut two pieces of the Designer Series Paper to 5 x 5
Die cut each with the largest heart die from the Hearts of Elegance Dies. Or, use any of the other sizes to create a variety of treat holders.
Score each heart down the middle. Fold in half. Burnish with a bone folder.
Use Tear ‘n Tape to adhere the hearts together.
Embellish with ribbon and gems or include a sentiment.
Add treats!
You can’t make it any easier to create a DIY Valentine treat packet!
Be sure to watch the video below to see how these candy holders come together.

The bulk of the holiday celebrations are behind us. Perhaps you finished your handmade Christmas cards. Perhaps you didn’t. Either way, have you thought about sending a new year’s card? I’m thinking you could design, create, and send these well into the month of January. I know I have and plan to!
In addition, I modeled the card layout using the sketches on page 22 of Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog. This great layout works with a variety of stamp sets, papers, and sentiments. Be sure to look for other samples below.
