Cutting & Scoring:
Mango Melody Cardstock — 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” and folded in half; 3” x 3”
Basic White Cardstock – 5 ¼” x 4”, 3” x 3”, 5 ½” x 1”
DSP – 4 ¾” x 2 ½” (Fresh Freesia flower design), 4” x 3” (square design shown above)
Instructions:
Die cut a scallop circle from the 3” x 3” Mango Melody Cardstock and a stitched circle from the Stylish Shapes (2 ½”) from the white 3” x 3” cardstock.
Stamp the owl with Memento ink on the white circle. Color with Stampin’ Blends and Mango Meldoy Stampin’ Write Marker.
Layer on Mango Melody scallop.
Punch the left side of the 5 ½” x 1” white cardstock with the Banners Pick a Punch.
Stamp the sentiment with Mango Melody ink on the left side of the banner.
Adhere the 4”x 3” DSP to the right-hand side of the Mango Melody card front.
Add the 4 ¾” x 2 ½” DSP piece on top of this. Then add the banner with the sentiment.
Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the owl layer on the right-hand side.
Glue 5 ¼” x 4” white cardstock to the middle of the card.

In between the holiday preparations, people are still celebrating birthdays. I like to have birthday cards on hand so I can easily put them in the mail. This birthday card offers a versatile layout that can be created with a variety of patterned papers and stamp sets. I used Stampin’ Up!’s Go-To Greetings stamp set and Design a Daydream Designer Series Paper to complete this project. Find both of these in Stampin’ Up!’s 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.

Cutting & Scoring:
Thick Basic White Cardstock – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” and folded in half
Pool Party Cardstock – 5 ¼” x 4”, 1 ¾” x 3 ½” inches (2), and 2 5/8” x 1 ¼”
Basic White Cardstock – 5” x 3 ¾”, 2 1/2″ x1 1/4″
DSP – 1 ½” x 3 ¼” (2)
Instructions:
Dry emboss the 5” x 3 ¾” Basic White Cardstock with the Gingham Embossing Folder.
Adhere this to the Pool Party 5 ¼” x 4” piece and layer this on the card base.
Attach the two pieces of the DSP to each of the 1 ¾” x 3 ½” inch Pool Party pieces.
Add these to the front of the card as shown above.
Stamp the birthday sentiment with Pool Party ink on the 2 1/2″ x 1 1/4″ Basic White Cardstock. Die cut with Stitched Rectangle Dies. Layer this on the 2 5/8” x 1 ¼” Pool Party cardstock.
Add the sentiment to the card front with adhesive of choice.
Choose three of the gems and add them to the front of the card.

Instructions:
Dry emboss the 5” x 3 ¾” Very Vanilla Cardstock with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder. Position the paper in the folder so the bottom, right-hand corner isn’t embossed.
Stamp the “Let’s Celebrate” sentiment in the lower right-hand corner of the embossed piece with Soft Suede ink.
Attach the embossed piece to the 5 ¼” x 4” Gold Foil sheet.
Wrap the ribbon around this piece and tie a bow.
Attach this to the Thick Very Vanilla Cardstock base.
Add three Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

Cutting & Scoring:
Basic Black – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” and folded in half, 4” x 3”

Instructions:
With the Blending Brush, apply a layer of Pumpkin Pie ink to the left-hand side of one of the Basic White cardstock pieces measuring 5 ¼” x 4”. Stamp the Best Witches sentiment with Memento ink in the bottom right corner.
Die cut the Basic Black 4” x 3” card stock with the crosshatch image from the Chic Dies. Glue to the card front on the left-hand side, on top of the blended ink.
Die cut the Vellum Cardstock with the 2 ½’ circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies.
Stamp the witch’s hat on the 3” x 3” Basic White cardstock with Black Memento Ink. Color image with Pumpkin Pie Blends. Punch with coordinating punch.
Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the hat and center on the vellum circle.
Turn the circle over and place Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of this piece and add to card front on top of the black, Chic Dies piece.
Glue this whole piece to the Basic Black card base.
Wrap the ribbon around the card front and tie a bow.
Add black Classic Matte Dots to card front.
Adhere remaining Basic White piece to the middle of the card.
