Stampin’ Up!’s brand-new May-August 2026 Mini Catalog will be live soon! It debuts May 5, 2026. It’s filled with lots of new products, including stamp sets, bundles, colors, ink pads, embossing folder, paper, ribbon, and more. As a demonstrator, I was able to preorder some products, and I chose the Balloon Festoon Bundle.
You receive seven balloon dies, the largest of which is about 5 3/4 x 4 3/16. Today, I share a free, card-making tutorial using this bundle. Enjoy!
PAPER – Hydrangea Hue Cardstock (167687), Basic White Cardstock (166780), 2026-2028 In Color Painted Patterns 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper (167755)
INK – Hydrangea Hue (167677)
OTHER – Hydrangea Hue 3/8-inch Bordered Ribbon (167549), 2026-2028 In Color Dots (167546), Stampin’ Seal (152813), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (144108), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653)
Cutting & Scoring:
Hydrangea Hue Cardstock – 7 ½” x 5 ½”, scored and folded at 3 ¼”
DSP – One piece (Hydrangea Hue striped pattern) 5” x 2 ¾” and one 5 ¼” x 1”
DSP – One piece (Hydrangea Hue small dotted pattern) 4 ½” x 3 ½”
Basic White Cardstock – 5 ¼” x 4”, 5 ¼” x 3”, 3 ¼” x ½”
Ribbon – 5”
Instructions:
Fold the card at the score line.
Layer the 5” x 2 ¾” Hydrangea Hue striped DSP onto the 5 ¼” x 3” Basic White panel. Add all to the front card base panel.
Die cut the 4 ½” x 3 ½” Hydrangea Hue small dotted DSP with the third largest balloon.
Add balloon to card front, being sure to put adhesive on the front flap only, so you don’t glue the card shut.
Stamp the “Enjoy Your Day” sentiment with Hydrangea Hue ink on the 3 ¼” x ½” Basic White Cardstock. Trim off each end at a slant. Add to card front.
Adhere the 5 ¼” x 1” Hydrangea Hue striped DSP to the right-hand side of the 5 ¼” x 4” Basic White panel, leaving a small border around the top, bottom, and right side.
Glue to the inside of the card.
Tie a knot in the ribbon and add to balloon with a Glue Dot.
Add three Hydrangea Hue dots to the card front.
Here’s what the card looks like when it’s open:
Thanks so much for visiting my blog! I hope you enjoyed this free tutorial. Please let me know if you have questions about this card or any other stamping project.
