A bottle of wine (or a nice bottle of nonalcoholic sparkling water) makes a great gift throughout the year. But especially during the holiday season for host gifts at the holidays, for new year’s celebrations, and for special people on Valentine’s Day! Have fun dressing up that bottle with a handmade tag.
In today’s post, I share a wine bottle tag created for Valentine’s Day and one for Christmas. See this blog post for a tag designed for new year celebrations. The Valentine tag uses products from the Hearts of Elegance Suite Collection, including the Hearts of Elegance stamp set, Hearts of Elegance Dies, Marbled Elegance 12 x 12 Specialty Designer Paper, Gold Twisted Thread, and Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins. Save 10 percent when you purchase the stamp set and dies as a bundle. Find these online as part of Stampin’ Up!’s Online Exclusives offerings.

Are you finished with your Christmas crafting? Good for you! Or are you still racing to the finish line like me? Today, I share a quick card that uses Stampin’ Up!’s Merriest Trees Dies and scraps of the Take a Bow 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.
Measurements and Details
Here are some details about how this card comes together:
Real Red card stock base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4
Basic White card stock panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4. I first die cut the Christmas tree in the middle of the panel and then embossed the panel with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder.
On a piece of Basic White card stock measuring 5 x 3 3/4, layer strips of Designer Series Paper in any pattern you choose. I used about seven strips of the Take a Bow DSP that are 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch wide. Attach this panel to the Real Red card base.
Pop up the white embossed panel (with the three that’s been die cut out) with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tip: Use plenty of dimensionals so the panel doesn’t sag.
Stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment (from the Reindeer Fun Stamp Set) with Real Red ink on a piece of Basic White card stock measuring 3 3/4 x 1/2. Add to card front, as shown.
Die cut a star with the Festive 12 x 12 Glimmer Paper and add to card front.
Color two Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels with Real Red Stampin’ Blends and adhere to each side of sentiment.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today. Be sure to visit all of the blogs on the hop.
