Hello Stampers!
Good news! Stampin’ Up! approved my team name: Kim’s Paper Krafters. It’s so exciting to have a group of people who share my passion for creating and sending handcrafted cards and gifts. I’d love to have you join me. Look for more information on the Join My Team page or shoot me an email.
I had a team meeting at my house last night. After talking about some of the new products and upcoming events and promotions, I gave them some time to play with Stampin’ Up!’s new Blendabilities, alcohol-based markers. (See yesterday’s post for detailed information). Six colors are now available for purchase. They are $11.95 per package and include three markers in varying shades: - Old Olive
- Cherry Cobbler
- Pumpkin Pie
- Daffodil Delight
- Coastal Cabana
- Rich Razzleberry
Here’s the cute 3 x 3 card we made with our Blendabilties. Each participant tried a different color (sorry I didn’t take a photo), and they all turned out great.
We accented the flower (from Flower Shop) with Old Olive leaves punched from the Bird Builder Punch. I also showed them how easy — and cool — it is to color rhinestones with the Blendabilities to add oomph to the project.

Hello Stampers!
You may remember that my husband works at a large insurance company and often needs cards for coworkers. Today (unfortunately), he needed a sympathy card. He likes me to create large cards that leave a lot of space for multiple people to write their personal greetings.
For this card, I scored a piece of Stampin’ Up!’s 8 1/2 x 11 Whisper White card stock in half. That formed the base of my card. I cut a piece of basic black card stock at 8 1/4 x 5 1/4 as a layer. I stamped on a piece of WW measuring 8 by 5. I created an envelope for a card this size with the envelope punch board.
I inked the Pleasant Poppies stamp with the new Memento Ink pad and stamped the image twice in this large area. I then colored the poppies with Stampin’ Up’s new Blendabilties markers. And, the good news is: A selection of these alcohol ink markers are available for purchase tomorrow, July 1.
In addition to the Memento Ink Pad (which should be used when coloring with the Blendabilities), you may purchase the following colors — they all match our current Stampin’ Up! palette.
- Old Olive
- Cherry Cobbler
- Pumpkin Pie
- Daffodil Delight
- Coastal Cabana
- Rich Razzleberry
They come in packages of three — dark, medium, and light — for $11.95 each.
I’d love to show you how to use these makers! You can also use them to color rhinestones, jewels, buttons, and more.

Hello Stampers!
It is just so fun every month to see what My Paper Pumpkin delivers to my mailbox! This month’s kit included the supplies to make 24 pinwheels.
The box included three photopolymer stamps; 24 pre-cut and scored paper pieces; 24 large silver brads; 24 cello bags; 24 red/white striped straws; baker’s twine; pre-cut banners; and a Stampin’ Ink spot.
I choose to include some of the pinwheels in a fun arrangement in a mason jar adorned with some Cherry Cobbler 3/4-inch chevron ribbon. A few of the others were adhered to cello bags filled with Baker’s Chocolates. (These are Nebraska-made chocolates with fun-colored wrappers! Think Red, Blue and Silver!)
Would you like a surprise delivered to your mailbox each month? A Paper Pumpkin subscription is just $19.95 per month, with shipping included. Your first kit includes an acrylic block.
You may also purchase prepaid subscriptions in three-, six-, and 12-month increments. Save $2 a month by purchasing a year in advance (and receive $30 in hostess dollars — money to spend on any merchandise in the Stampin’ Up! catalog!) Sign up by July 10 to receive the July kit.
