Hello Stampers!

You may remember that my husband works at a large insurance company and often needs cards for coworkers. Today (unfortunately), he needed a sympathy card. He likes me to create large cards that leave a lot of space for multiple people to write their personal greetings.

For this card, I scored a piece of Stampin’ Up!’s 8 1/2 x 11 Whisper White card stock in half. That formed the base of my card. I cut a piece of basic black card stock at 8 1/4 x 5 1/4 as a layer. I stamped on a piece of WW measuring 8 by 5. I created an envelope for a card this size with the envelope punch board.

I inked the Pleasant Poppies stamp with the new Memento Ink pad and stamped the image twice in this large area. I then colored the poppies with Stampin’ Up’s new Blendabilties markers. And, the good news is: A selection of these alcohol ink markers are available for purchase tomorrow, July 1.

In addition to the Memento Ink Pad (which should be used when coloring with the Blendabilities), you may purchase the following colors — they all match our current Stampin’ Up! palette.

  • Old Olive
  • Cherry Cobbler
  • Pumpkin Pie
  • Daffodil Delight
  • Coastal Cabana
  • Rich Razzleberry

They come in packages of three — dark, medium, and light — for $11.95 each.
I’d love to show you how to use these makers! You can also use them to color rhinestones, jewels, buttons, and more.
