I was just getting ready to transition from making fall-themed cards to getting ready for the Christmas holiday. But then, I took Stampin’ Up!’s first online class. (Which, by the way is still available. Get more information by clicking here.)
During this class, Stampin’ Up! designers and creators shared not only four handmade greeting cards, but also lots of helpful tips and tricks. One of the cards inspired today’s creation. I loved the layout and some of the tips and tricks, so I created my own version.
This thankful for you card definitely uses an awesome combination of Stampin’ Up! products, including: The Gathering Moments Stamp Set, the Traditional Labels Dies, and the Beautiful Motifs Dies.

Welcome to Team Stamp It’s Blog Hop. Thanks so much for joining us! This month, we feature cards and projects showcasing a Thanksgiving and fall theme. Be sure to to visit all of the participating blogs. Leave a comment on each for your chance to win the Pop-Up Pals Kit.
When I think of Thanksgiving and fall, I think of the gorgeous fall colors as the leaves change. I have vivid memories of this while growing up in North Dakota and living in Minnesota and Nebraska. With today’s card, I try to re-create that with the baby wipe technique. Be sure to watch the video below as I demonstrate how to achieve this fun look.
In addition, I’ll show you how I created the large leaf image that I stamped with. In summary, I used the large maple leaf die cut from Stampin’ Up!’s Gathering Moments Dies to make my own “stamp” with adhesive foam sheets.

Today’s card has a lot going on! First, it features a new-to-me technique–the split die technique. I was inspired by Heidi Collins (On Y Go Stamping). Second, this technique makes two cards. Third, this card uses strips of my current favorite patterned paper–Gathering Together 12 x 12 Specialty Designer Series Paper. And fourth, it uses a sneak peek of a product available to customers beginning November 4, 2025–Lasting Linen Photopolymer Stamp Set. (It may be hard to see in the photo, but it’s the background behind the maple leaf.)
