Happy Thanksgiving!Where ever you are today, I hope you are enjoying time together with family and friends!
It’s a day to reflect on the last year and be thankful for all of our blessings. As a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I thank my customers and team members for their support. We’ve had a lot of fun together and have also had the opportunity to support some worthy causes.
I thank my husband and my family for their involvement in my business — setting up for events and craft shows and hanging out in the “man cave” during my in-home classes.
I thank the volunteers from Lincoln Community Women’s Club who help me create cards each month to be donated to the local Make-A-Wish chapter.
I appreciate good health care and the opportunity to get two new hips in order to enjoy a quality of life.
I thank Stampin’ Up! for giving me the great products to create handmade cards (like this one inspired by Georgia Giguerre) and gift items that cheer others.

Hello Stampers!I am so excited! By this time tomorrow I’ll be on my way to Tampa, Florida, for one of Stampin’ Up!’s inaugural OnStage Local events. (There are closer locations, but I chose Tampa so I can see my parents when the festivities have ended.)
OnStage Local is like a mini-convention. I’m looking forward to learning more about Stampin’ Up!s products, meeting other stampers, stamping, and getting a look at the new upcoming catalogs! We’re even going to be swapping.
Here, I’m sharing one of my swap cards. The photo doesn’t quite reflect the fun of the foil paper, but you get the idea. I used all three of SU!’s foil papers: silver, gold, and red. They are punched with the 1-inch punch and adhered randomly to the front of the card.
I’m looking forward to a great time and will report when I return!
