The Bag Lady Strikes Again!

Picture

Hello Stampers!

These Kraft Tag a Bag Gift Bags (10 of them for $3.50) are so versatile and easy to use. I needed something to hold a gift I wanted to give to each of my team members, and these bags provided the perfect solution.

Thanks to Mary Bush for the inspiration for this bag. She created a card using this design, and I adapted it to a bag. I inked three of the leaves from the Vintage Leave set (found on page 88 of the Annual Catalog) with Cherry Cobbler, Hello Honey, and Garden Green. The sentiment, stamped in Early Espresso, comes from the For All Things. I inked the splatter from the Gorgeous Grunge set and stamped over the leaves. There’s a piece of washi tape and a bow from the linen thread.

Enjoy!

Hello Stampers!

Welcome to Team Stamp It’s monthly blog hop. This month, we’re featuring Thanksgiving projects. Whether you’ve come from Liz Miller’s blog or if this is your first stop, welcome! We’re glad to have you!

My card was inspired by two stampers: Patty Bennett and Susan Itell. But I also added some of my own flair. It starts with a Daffodil Delight base, followed by Cherry Cobbler, and Soft Suede. I stamped the Hardwood background stamp in Soft Suede onto the 5 x 3 3/4 Soft Suede panel.

And then it gets really fun! I topped it with leaves stamped with the Vintage Leaves set (Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, and Pumpkin Pie) and cropped them with the Leaflets Framelits Dies. From Night of Navy card stock, I cut the word “grateful” using the Seasonal Framelits Thinlits Dies. I adhered that to a piece of that cool Kraft Corrugated card stock.

I’m “grateful” you stopped by today! Now, onto Elizabeth Thatcher’s creation.
