Hello Stampers!

It’s an exciting day at Stampin’ Up! The 2017-2018 Annual Catalog is now live! It’s filled with all kinds of exciting products for papercrafting, memory keeping, gift giving and more.

I thought this card — using the Happy Celebrations stamp set — exemplified today. New catalog = new beginnings!

Click on the catalog graphic below to browse through the new catalog. If you don’t already have a demonstrator and need a catalog, please contact me. I’d love to get you a copy. There’s nothing like looking at it in person!

I hope you enjoy the catalog and products as much as I do!

In With the New … Out With the Old

Picture

Hello Stampers!

There’s good news. And there’s good news. The good news is that Stampin’ Up!’s brand-new catalog debuts June 1. That means we can begin ordering fun, new stamp sets, Designer Series Papers, ribbons, die cuts, embossing folders, embellishments and more. It means you can get this super cute stamp set, This Little Piggy. It’s an awesome set that lends itself well to watercoloring.

The other good news is that there are still two days left to take advantage of Stampin’ Up!’s retiring items sale. Some of the goodies are up to 50 percent off. This is while supplies last. Click over to my online store to check out what is retiring ad what is on sale. The Designer Series Paper used here–Playful Palette–is retiring as is the gold Wink of Stella Glitter Pen.

Here is a link to the retiring items. Click here.

If you don’t currently work with a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I’d love to help you get your hands on the new catalog. Leave a comment below or send an email to: [email protected].

Although This Little Piggy isn’t available until June 1, the other products can be purchased by clicking on the links to the items below

Thanks for stopping by today.

To Share What We Love: Cards for a Cause

Hello Stampers!

A few years ago, I looked around my craft room and thought: I have so much stuff. How can I share this? I began looking at different options, thinking of worthwhile organizations that may have a need for handmade cards. I contacted our local Make-A-Wish chapter in Lincoln, Nebraska, and they were happy to let me make cards they could send to their current and former wish kids for birthdays, in celebration of their wish trip, and for thank yous, thinking of you and get well.

I estimate that with the help of the Lincoln Community Women’s Club and my wonderful friends and customers, we’ve created and donated almost 1,500 greeting cards. That’s a lot of rubber stamps, ink, and paper.

It’s just so awesome to use Stampin’ Up!’s coordinating products to create something beautiful for the benefit of others. It always reminds me of Stampin’ Up’s Statement of the Heart:

To love what we do
And share what we love
As we help others enjoy
Creativity and worthwhile accomplishments.
In this we make a difference.

May you also love what you do!

Time for a Treat Bag

Picture

Hello Stampers!

It was oh so gloomy and rainy for a number of days last week here in Nebraska. The good news is that it is a great excuse to stay inside and create fun projects with Stampin’ Up! products. I was preparing for a class that featured the Eastern Beauty stamp set and coordinating Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies. This suite of products also includes some really awesome Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers and and Mini Tassels. These items debut in Stampin’ Up!’s 2017-2018 Annual Catalog June 1, but you have an opportunity to get bundles of these products now. (See the details below for both the Starter Bundle and the Premier Bundle. Free products are offered with each bundle. Don’t miss out. This offer is good through May 31.)

For this project, I used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies with Very Vanilla card stock. It was easy to decorate with the stickers. Just peel them off the sheet and you’re good to go. I added a layer of one of the new In Colors, Fresh Fig, to add some pizzazz. I finished it off with a Gold Binder Clip ad a piece of Natural Trim Gold Ribbon. (Inspired by Pink Buckaroo Designs.)

What’s inside, you ask? What would you put in this beautiful bag? I would normally add chocolate, but I discovered a seed packet fits nicely inside.

The products used to make this project are all available in my online store. Just click on any of the graphics below and you will be directed to the store.

I hope you enjoy making this project. It’s so quick and easy when using the stickers!

Thanks for visiting!

Kim
