Lovin’ Stampin’ Up!’s New Catalog

Picture

Hello Stampers!

I hope you’ve had some time to sit down and look through Stampin’ Up!’s 2017-2018 catalog. There are so many brand-new and carry-over products that are so awesome.

Today, I’m sharing a great card created by Patty Kreifels. She shared this during our team swap (a swap is where several people get together, create cards and then share them among themselves). In this scenic card, she showcases the High Tide and Colorful Seasons stamp set and coordinating dies. Don’t you just love the Adirondack chair? It is so cute and can be used in so many ways!

Throughout the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing other cards created by my talented team members. It’s always so fun to see everyone’s different stye.

See a list of the products Patty used to make this card on the graphics below.

Thanks for stopping by!

Love Today Planner Kit: Making Planning Fun

Hello Stamping Friends,

I’ve been really excited about the new products in the Stampin’ Up! catalog. I really love all of the kits, but most especially the Love Today Planner kit. The video above gives a great overview of this fun product. Who doesn’t need a calendar that has some stye.

The pages aren’t prenumbered so you can begin to use your planner right now. And, using the stickers you can customize this anyway you like. Mine was just delivered by UPS, but I will share my cover when I get it decorated. What’s also great about this planner, is that refills are available so it can be used for more than one years.

Enjoy today!

Happy Celebrations for Baby

Picture

Hello Stamping Friends,

Are you looking for a versatile stamp set that can be used for more than one occasion? Stampin’ Up!’s Happy Celebrations stamp set with the coordinating Celebrations Duo embossing folders can create everything from birthday cards to wedding cards, and even baby cards.

Click here to see my previous post with the wedding card.

I used the star image to stamp Pear Pizzazz ink onto Pear Pizzazz card stock to get the cute little image around the border. I ran a piece of Whisper White card stock through the Big Shot with the “celebrate” embossing folder. I alternated stamping So Saffron Ink with Pear Pizzazz ink around the image with both the small and large round “splotches.” Note that I “stamped off” the Pear Pizzazz before applying it to the paper; I got the lighter color I was looking for.

“Stamped off” means that you ink your stamp, press the inked image on a piece of scrap paper, and then apply it to your project.

To finish off this project, I added some of the Subtles Enamel Shapes. They just add a little extra “oomph” to this card.

Look below to see a list of all of the ingredients I used to create this gender-neutral baby card.

Enjoy!
