My niece recently celebrated her 40th birthday, and I was invited to go on a girls’ trip. I wanted to create a fun and special card to help her celebrate. (Today’s card is similar to the one I gave her, but I wanted to recreate it to share with you.)
It’s been a long time since I made one of these very special designs. But they sure are fun! I used Stampin’ Up!’s Wildflower Birthday 12 x 12 Specialty Designer Series Paper as inspiration. Not only do the designs include festive colors, the DSP package offers two sheets of beautiful die cuts. Find this patterned paper in Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2025 Mini Catalog.
What’s more: this design folds up and fits in one of Stampin’ Up!’s Medium White Envelopes.
Here’s a view from the top.
Measurements and Details
Here are a few measurements to help you get started. Be sure to watch the video below to help you make sense of the measurements.

Burnish all folds. With snips, cut away the small piece on the short side. (See video.)
Designer Series Paper for the bottom outside: four pieces measuring 1 3/4 x 4
Designer Series Paper for the top: four pieces measuring 1 3/4 x 2
Same card stock color measuring 1 x 3, score at 1/2 inch on each side and cut down the middle to make two pieces measuring 1/2 x 3.
Window Sheet pieces measuring 1/2 x 1. You’ll need as many of these as the pop-up pieces you decide to include.

Sentiment and additional embellishments, if desired.

One of my ladies’ groups asked me to help them create a shaker card. At nearly the same time, Stampin’ Up!’s Artisan Design Team showcased a quick and easy way to make a shaker card with Stampin’ Up! products. The secret ingredient is the Medium Clear Envelope. I modified the project a little bit. Today, I share the card with you. It uses the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle. Find it in the January-April 2025 Mini Catalog. At each in-person class, I love to give each participant a fun party favor or treat packet. I created this heart-shaped packet and want to share it with you. It’s so quick, easy, and super cute.
All the different size hearts offer so many possibilities.
See below for a look at a few of the finished treats.
Measurements and Details
Cut two pieces of the Designer Series Paper to 5 x 5
Die cut each with the largest heart die from the Hearts of Elegance Dies. Or, use any of the other sizes to create a variety of treat holders.
Score each heart down the middle. Fold in half. Burnish with a bone folder.
Use Tear ‘n Tape to adhere the hearts together.
Embellish with ribbon and gems or include a sentiment.
Add treats!
